Where to Eat
Here are some of our favorite places to eat whenever we're in the St. Pete area!
One of our favorite stops for a Cuban, Frita, and of course a Cortadito!
Bodega on Central
By far, the BEST CUBAN in St. Pete - they've even won Best Cuban Sandwich Awards! If you go, tell them Alyssa from CasaBolanos says hi!!!
Pipo's Cuban Cafe
As ½ a Colombian family, we take our food seriously! Their buñuelos were perfect and the empanadas hit the spot!
Mi Carreta Restaurant & Bakery
I have never had a bad meal here! Breakfast, lunch, or a sweet treat, you can't go wrong with Sourdough Co.!
The Sourdough Co
Fun for the Family
FloridaRAMA was WILD! We did not know what to expect. This immersive, trippy, and weird experience is what Florida is all about! The kids loved it, just know - it's pricey! Save when buying 4 or more
FloridaRAMA
A nice little children's museum. Let me stress, it is small. At least much smaller than the closeby Glazer Children's Museum in Tampa. Still, it is a great option in the area and our kids did love it. We spent about 2 hours here.
Great Explorations Children's Museum
This place has a nature trail and an awesome playground that feels hidden and connected to nature
Boyd Hill Nature Preserve
A nice outdoor garden to walk around and spend a few hours. One of St. Pete's oldest attractions
Sunken Gardens
We love spending a few hours here! From the Glazer Playground for kids, the lookout, tons of places to eat, hang, and explore! Make sure you stop at the Discovery Center
St. Pete Pier

I LOVE this market! So many vendors local to Central Florida. What a great way to enjoy the beautiful St. Pete weather and support local small businesses
Mezzo Market
Where to Stay
We just spent the weekend here and loved it! They are remodeling after the storm, but we had a seaside room where we walked out and could have jumped in the ocean if we wanted! GREAT for families too!
SkyBeach Hotel and Marina
Worth a Drive to Tampa
If you're already in the area, Tampa is just a short drive with so much to see and do!
A fun interactive children's museum with three floors!
Glazer Children's Museum
A huge marketplace with restaurants, bars, shops, and plenty of outdoor space and seating to hang and spend the day
