Medellin is one of my favorite cities in Colombia for families. There is so much to do within the city, but also tons of towns to puebliar aka spend the weekend exploring within 45mins - 1 hour of the city.

When visiting Bogota, the city has so much to offer! But if you have the time, I recommend driving a bit out and exploring the colonial town of Villa de Leyva. With a huge dinosaur history, this will be unforgettable for the whole family!
