Ampersand makes the best substrates. They’re always super solid and will hold up to any medium
Ampersand Value Series Artist Panels
These are the *very best* colored pencils. They are oil based as opposed to wax based and you can layer to your hearts desire. They also rarely break
Faber-Castell Polychromos Pencils and Sets
These are the very best because the paper will hold up to markers and ink but it also lies flat when opened.
Moleskine
Having the wide eraser on the end gives this pencil the perfect weight and balance, and the lead never breaks
Blackwing Pencil Packs
Mineral paper is a waterproof paper that is great to use with inks and washes. I love the texture of it
Yasutomo Mineral Paper Artist Pads
Holbein makes the best products. The color range in this line is perfection!
Holbein Acrylic Gouache and Sets
These are the best watercolor sketchbooks I’ve ever tried. The paper doesn’t buckle and they have a spiral binding so the pages lie flat. 🤌
Holbein Multimedia Books
This is my favorite brand of gesso. It’s very pigmented, matte, and goes a long way. They are beautiful surfaces for drawing on top of
Holbein Acryla Colored Gesso
These are opaque and draw on almost anything. I use them all the time as base drawings. Great for more graphic artwork
Posca Paint Markers and Sets
I got this as a birthday present to myself and it makes me feel invincible. I can do anything with a jigsaw. I can cut out any shapes I want. I can make my own canvases!

These make starting the painting process much easier. This is a wax paper palette that you can rip off and toss when your done painting for the day
