Novels
Lots of different Novels. I love mystery and thrillers.
Interesting thriller. While turning a derelict house, Mia becomes pregnant. Mia finds an odd message carved into the skirt board and that’s only the beginning to this house of horrors.
Keep It in the Family
Inspired by a true story. Was easy to predict but still a good read. First Jess Lourey novel in my collection.
Unspeakable Things
Six teenage girls had went missing when Chloe Davis was 12 years old. Her father was arrested as a serial killer. 20 years later, similar cases of missing girls start to happen.
A Flicker in the Dark
It follows the life of a girl who gets caught up into a cult and gets in over her head. Starts off a little slow but picks up. Opened me up to more Faith Gardner books.
The Mirror House Girls
Very fast paced, a great representation of why a woman would “choose the bear”.
Pretty Girls
Be careful what you post online, it may not end well. A man hunts and kidnaps virgins and nobody is supposed to make it out alive.
Appetite for Innocence
Is she who he says she is? Who is she? She cant remember anything about herself, only that he’s claiming to be her father.
Easy read for me, finished in an evening. Popcorn style. The ending got me.
That's Not My Name
Good teenage read. Shows to be weary of men.
The Quarry Girls
2 fathers, 2 different races, 2 murdered sons. These fathers are on a quest of vengeance while they deal with their own prejudices. Good read.
Razorblade Tears
The book has an erie atmosphere to it. Holds your attention. Good horror/ghost novel.
The Sun Down Motel
The book follows 2 girls who are raised in isolation and taught to fear the outside world. There’s a lot going on, kinda feels like 2 different stories at the same time.
The Stillwater Girls
Libby was the only survivor of a massacre in which her mother and two sisters were killed. Evidence pointed to her older brother who was an alleged satin worshipper.
This book is full of mystery and is a little twisted.

Those Empty Eyes
Long Bright River is a book I couldn’t put down. It shows how strong a sister relationship can be no matter what their issues are. It also brings awareness to opioid addiction. I love this book.
Long Bright River|Paperback
Another great Karin Slaughter read. A small town story full of secrets.
We Are All Guilty Here
I enjoyed this one quite a bit. Reminded me of something Karin Slaughter would have written. Claire’s older sister goes missing and years later Claire finds a diary filled with crime. She starts to think the two could be related.
Forget Me Not
This book is full of short chapters, and cliffhangers. It touches on truth vs. appearances, mother and daughter relationships, and grief.
Love, Mom
This is a dark, and twisty read. While doing renovations to his home, Mat finds a locked crate in his backyard filled with disturbing contents. The killer is revealed early and the story after follows how it will all unfold.
The Butcher
Poetry
I love poetry and these are some of the poetry books I own.
This is another Willow Bowery poetry book that is a must have for every swifty or poetry lover.
Tortured Poets
Of course, as a swifty, I had to buy all of Willow Bowery’s work. This is a poetry book that people speculate whether or not Taylor actually wrote it. Beautiful poetry.
Don't Blame Me For What You Made Me Do
This is a beautifully written poetry book that I received for Christmas one year. It’s written by the musician known as “Halsey.” It’s really vulnerable and beautiful and represents her as a person.
I Would Leave Me If I Could: Poetry Collection
This is a self published woman author. It’s the perfect example of feminine rage. 10/10
Being a Woman
I love this poetry book. It’s so beautiful and vulnerable.
Paper Flowers: poetry on the mother wound
This book of poetry explores this author’s grief by betrayal. It’s a great addition to any poetry collection.
Hollow Soul: Poetry for the Broken Heart
