This list contains all the books I read in 2025 and my thoughts about them. Overall, it was a good year.
Everyone This Christmas Has a Secret is a delightful holiday-themed murder mystery filled with wit, suspense, and plenty of secrets. The third book in the Ernest Cunningham series, it works just as well as a standalone, offering readers an amusing an...
Everyone this Christmas Has a Secret
Great heist story. I need to read it again to make sure I have all the heists right in my head!
Everyone in This Bank Is a Thief by Benjamin Stevenson
The latest in the series. Is this the end of Breed? Lots of crazy adventures as always
Where There's A Blade: Chronicles of Breed 6
I love Darkwing Duck. I bought this comic collection off a Kickstarter and have had a lot of fun reliving old memories.
Darkly Dawns the Duck | Disney Wiki - Fandom
This two-for-the-price-of-one collection is very cleverly designed. Find Us was a little too creepy for my liking, but I really enjoyed Last One to Leave.
Fool Me Twice by Benjamin Stevenson
This series was originally designed as a trilogy, and I absolutely love the story resolution in this book. It ties everything up so nicely, in a violent, swear-filled way!
Something Wicked (Chronicles of Breed #3)
I've read this series twice now, and it is a great read. Colourful language, great action, hard to put down
Tooth And Claw: Chronicles of Breed 2 eBook
The book that started it all. I read it as an ebook, then immediately bought it so I could lend it to some friends I knew would enjoy it. It is described as Deadpool meets Lord of the Rings, and I think that should be enough to get you hooked!
Dangerous To Know (Chronicles of Breed #1)
Due to the events of the trilogy so far, Breed ends up in a world that is similar, but slightly different to the world he knew. This is one of my favourite tropes, where things are familiar, but different enough to be interesting (think the alternate...
From Hell's Heart: Chronicles of Breed 4
This is probably the weakest of the stories, as Breed is sent off on a side quest to a land far across the sea. It is enjoyable enough, but not as good as the others.
No Good Deed: Chronicles of Breed #5 eBook
A modern thriller. Nora wants to move into the posh new neighbourhood, but slowly she discovers that things are not quite what they seem. A thrilling take on the mental load affecting women.
