I’ve read this book numerous times. It’s an epic story of rabbits… RABBITS. Really it’s a wonderful allegory for survival and finding meaning in life.
Watership Down: A Novel by Richard Adams
This book stole my heart from the first page. Great story and characters. A fun, heart warming read.

She’s a doozy but worth the read. I suggest taking this book in small bites and treat as education. This is not a light read.
