I don’t have the biggest personal connection to this one, but I love the way the song opens and in a simplistic way, love the way it sounds
Thunder
I am immersed into the world of this song everytime I listen to it. inviting, wild, and fun
Off To The Races
my very first lana del rey song. I listened during a summer in my early teens. I couldn’t get enough. I felt like it perfectly encapsulated all of the things I’d wanted to experience

I Won't Cry Anymore - Alternate Vocal Version
a song that sounds just like the cover. just so lively and longing. marvins an expert at yearning

beautifulll I don’t have much to say but it’s much too late for you and me
Just To Keep You Satisfied
mitski
indie rock, art pop, chamber pop, folk
a niche mitski rec 🙈 it’s a cover of the same title by lily chou chou. it’s sang beautifully
Glide - cover
my initial favorite off of the land is insonsolable and so are we. I genuinely just relate to it wholeheartedly
I Don't Like My Mind
laurel hell mention! I think it’s very well-written and catchy. and sad
Stay Soft
this song makes me think of howls moving castle when howl says “I see no point in living if I can't be beautiful”

4 Leaf Clover (feat. Steve Lacy)
what’s love without some confrontation? I love the writing on this one. it’s upbeat, but the bass makes it more intimate
Genius
her album HYPNOS is one of the best albums to date. in my opinion, it is the epitome of ravyn, but I’m not her so who am I to say
Skin Tight (feat. Steve Lacy)
sorry, this is my favorite work of hers! if your toxic relationship was also a little electronic
Venom
beautiful closer to this album, Birds Eye. about resilience and strength
Days
very important song. it’s about wondering literally about your ancestry, a question many black americans have
Where I'm From (feat. Mereba)
pinkpantheress

a sort of folk song from pink was so unexpected but it’s pretty and the barbie movie hype makes it a better listen

niche pink rec! an unfortunate type of relatable. about wanting to stay young and not being ready to grow up

alt hip-hop, funk, rnb, neo-soul
I love when tyler grabs his pen and lights the paper on fire
NEW MAGIC WAND
about being somebody’s side piece but being content with it (but not for too long.) could never be me, but the instrumental is bright with xylophone and amazing production by the one and only
BEST INTEREST
personal favorite off of call me if you get lost. I find it to be very important lyrically and engaging production-wise

scratches the itch! a little rock inspiration in this one, but all of cherry bomb is loud and explosive
