Garlands
Adding in natural garland elements adds in great colir
A dried orange slices garland adds color and a lovely scent to the tree
This is your sign to start baking your orange slices because they take a lot of patience! I’ve made orange slice garlands the past seven years and here are my tips: 1) use a sharp knife so you can get the thinnest most even orange slices. This helps the bake evenly so you don’t get any burnt edges. 2) low and slow is the game. Bake them at 175F-200F and flip the every half hour. Mine took about 2.5 hours because the slices were the thinnest I’ve ever got them. 3) if you’re using twine, carefully dip the ends in melted wax to string them way easier. 4) I’ve never done this but I’ve seen people use paper towels or a kitchen towel to soak up the orange juice to speed up the process. Have fun and enjoy! Fun caption inspired by: @Rosie #christmasdiy #christmascrafts #christmasdecor #christmasvibes #cozychristmas
