Books to the Big Screen
This book is one of the first books I read that was not young adult. It may seem slow moving at times but you have to make it to the end. It’s well worth it.
The Hobbit Collection
These books can sometimes be hard to get through, I recommend supplementing with the unabridged audio book
The Fellowship Of The Ring (Reissue) (Paperback) by J. R. R. Tolkien
Sometimes I watch the movie and then read the book as a supplement.
The Two Towers (Media Tie-In) - (Lord of the Rings) by J R R Tolkien (Paperback)
The final installment in the book series! It’s a toss up between the fellowship of the ring and the return of the king for favorite (both book & movie)
Lord of the Rings The Return of the King, 3: Being the Third Part of the Lord of the Rings, Book 3, (Paperback)
This book series will always be one of my favorites. I didn’t start reading until the goblet of fire was out!!
Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone (Book #1) | The Scholastic Parent Store
By the time the movies came out for this series, I was waiting on the 6th book!
Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets (Book #2) | The Scholastic Parent Store
This was the first book I read in the series (which is something I don’t tend to do) and it’s the book that got me hooked on the series!!
Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban (Book #3) | The Scholastic Parent Store
Once I finished the goblet of fire, I had to wait for the rest of the series to drop! Those were the days!
Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire (Book #4) | The Scholastic Parent Store
We see our first real touch of death and darkness in the Goblet of Fire, however OTP is where the darkness takes hold
Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix (Book #5) | The Scholastic Parent Store
Did anyone else notice that Harry’s trademark green eyes were blue in the movie, or was that just me? 😭😭
Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince (Book #6) | The Scholastic Parent Store
The final book to date (that’s not a screen play) thy turned this one into two movies!!
Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows | The Scholastic Parent Store
This is one of my recent favorites— it was purchased for me as a gift, and I loved every second of it!
