Get a mattress cover, and if you can definitely get a memory foam topper since the beds are most likely uncomfortable.

Get a mini fridge, I would suggest one that has a freezer compartment, depending on the size of your dorm of course.

Get a set of towels. I got a set from Walmart that came with 2 regular bath towels, 2 hand towels, and 2 face towels, and they were extremely soft and served me well!

If you don’t already, get hangers and thin ones than don’t take up much space.

Loved this hamper, and two bags were so helpful especially since I had to walk to do my laundry!
Additionally, if you already have a hamper get a backpack laundry bag! Holds all of your clothes and laundry supplies, I never had one but I was jealous...

For ambient lighting, I had these around my bed and they were perfect!
Curtain Lights
If you’re worried about things peeling paint DO NOT get these. I left them in my old dorm room because I couldn’t get them off. But they were very cute and helpful, I loved them! :)

Another source of ambient lighting, I’ve had my sunset lamp forever and it is a great alternative to adhesive lights such as LEDs!
