I just started this and I can tell that it’s going to be my relationship bible. For my Americans, this is an Australian author who is also a radio host for Triple J’s ā€œThe Hookup.ā€ I already loved Dee from Triple J, and of course her bf Darcy Moore i...

I’ve been reading these since I was in Ireland, and man, reading these on Trinity College’s lawn and analyzing them with my pretentious friends could never get old. I’m about half way through and the metaphors for the Troubles are incredible. Love it...

I’m having some trouble getting into this book, but it’s an older one— it’s kind of meta though, it’s about writing a book. That’s what drew me in. Will update with my thoughts!

I read this in May 2026. I loved this so much. It felt like reading a friend’s diary. I love me some Joan Didion, but when I need a break from her stoic style, I turn back to Eve for some fun.

I read this in December. This book was so enjoyable. As someone who didn’t know much of her music beforehand, besides the most popular tracks, this made me want to get more into her and really listen to the lyrics and her poetry. I loved hearing abou...

This was insane. I mean, I have no words. I had only read excerpts of Beloved and The Bluest Eye before, but Morrison’s style of writing really entranced me. I feel like I learned more about the english language while reading this. Her depictions of ...

I’m going to reread this myself, but I think everybody needs to reread The Great Gatsby in 2026. As the 1975 said, ā€œI can’t sleep ā€˜cuz the American Dream has been buying up all of my self-esteem.ā€
