Fall time is near! These are spots I’ve been to and loved. Some spots on this list are for fall time & I feel like they are worth the look.
Pumpkin, apples, 🍯! Usually mid September is a great time for apple picking for us. Definitely call beforehand if you’re looking for a certain variety.
Sekapp Orchard
Hands. Down. The. Best! Apples for days in the market! Make sure you go when the Apple Cider Donut truck is there. Fresh donuts and cider! The best grapes as well
Arboretum AppleHouse
Bring cash! They have an ATM, but best to bring cash.
Minnesota's Largest Candy Store
Really good hiking park!
Tettegouche State Park
Great view of Lake Superior. Do reserve way ahead of time as spots fill up like a year in advance. Cooler weather dates are typically open like early May!

good spot for fall time
Whitewater State Park
Definitely go here. Not far out from twin cities
Visit Taylors Falls, MN and St. Croix Falls, WI in the St. Croix Valley!
Such good roasts here! I would recommend grabbing a couple bags of beans! I like them all so I don’t have one specific bag. Go with what roast you like & you’ll be happy.
Duluth Coffee Company Coffee Shop & Roastery
Really cool & nice water-fall at this location. Steep staircase, at this location as well so be prepared. Wear bug spray
Nerstrand Big Woods State Park
Go visit New Ulm! Really nice town in MN. German like.
New Ulm
The best root beer ever at this brewery. Visited while pregnant so I wasn’t able to drink beer. The brewery is soooo amazing! I post pics I took on the New Ulm rec.
August Schell Brewing Co
You’re missing out if you don’t go here. Beef tongue Reuben, potato pancakes, Corbin bleu, pickled charcuterie board, etc. all of it is yummy
Moscow on the Hill
Stop by the donut shop! Walk to the lighthouse, there’s a walkway to it on the water
Grand Marais, MN: The Ultimate North Shore Getaway on Lake Superior
There’s the MN side and WI side. Good park to go to in the winter
Interstate State Park
Big space. Pizza is good. Great place to grab a beer
Pryes Brewing Company
Chill spot to grab a drink. They have food trucks if you’re wanting a bite to eat.
BlackStack Brewing
All of their food options have been good. Even brunch! Haven’t had anything bad at this place. Upstairs seating is nice
The Gnome Craft Pub
Small space so if you’re looking for a bigger location check out the other one. Great burger place tho!
St. Paul - Cathedral Hill
This place is usually busy. Popular spot. Great coffee and pastries

Love this place! Kid friendly even for babies. Most play cafe’s start at 2, but you can bring your little one to this cafe. Good coffee and snack options for the little ones. It’s not an enormous play cafe with slides and things like that. Just a chi...
Rebe's play cafe
This place is a great meat market. Widmers and Oxendale’s! They have more groceries than meat so you can grab way more things, but they have great selections for beef!
Widmer's Super Market
Similar to Widmer’s but this market is a bigger market. More like an actual grocery store. Meat selections are really good and very well priced. Beef chicken pork etc here

Foraging fun! Connects to Blue Mounds as well. Easy & paved trail
BRIGHAM COUNTY PARK
If you go to Brigham’s entrance you can see the “blue mounds” really well also. This state park is really nice. Can forage as well. Tons of family friendly “parks” and camping spots. Splash pad as well

Donald County Park
Family friendly. No dogs obviously. Good prices. Pumpkin patch, corn maze, bunch of activities for kids, chokeberry trees you can pick, apple trees, etc. amazing farm
