Outdoor Activities
An absolute must see! Every inch is beautiful and it’s so serene. Perfect for a family day or a solo walk. Even better spot for pictures of any kind!
Springfield Botanical Gardens
Perfect for picnics or group events. My sorority did events here often and the pictures were always stunning. Plenty of room to space out and have alone time. Great playground and tennis court as well!
Phelps Grove Park
Although it is a smaller zoo, it is still worth checking out! The size almost makes it more enjoyable to just stroll around in. Fun fact, it used to have a free roaming peacock and I know the person that made them stop doing that

Restaurants
The best sushi in Springfield. Go during late night and the prices can’t be beat. Stunning interior and perfect for events
Kai - Springfield
My go to while in grad school. Perfect location for any night out downtown. Impeccable food and delicious drinks. The burgers are my favorite!
Civil Kitchen
They’re located in the mall food court but when I tell you it’s some of the best food I’ve eaten, I mean it! Curry bowls to acia bowls to the spaghetti five way it’s all too good to miss out on!
Fusion Eatz- Açaí, Bowls & Wraps
Delicious food and drinks! If it’s a weekend you might need a reservation but I’ve also been able to just show up plenty of times
FD's Grillhouse
The BEST breakfast spot downtown. It’s been my go to for years and the portions are insane. Super chill vine. Avoid on Sundays or it’s slammed
Gailey's Breakfast Cafe
The cutest breakfast or brunch spot. Their crepes are to die for!! They offer sweet and savory along with other food options as well. Perfect for a girls brunch date

THE Springfield restaurant. Amazing food, drinks, and atmosphere. Plus the games are always on

A must have if you visit Springfield in the summer. It’s close to dole whip but with a Springfield twist! They also offer a second flavor that is different every day!
Pineapple Whip
This candy shop has a little bit of everything. From candy to make your own mix to international treats, to gourmet chocolate everything is delicious. The macarons are my favorite and keep me coming back
Lolli & Pops
One of the few classy spots to grab drinks with the girls. Every inch of the inside is decorated to perfection and it’s a perfect spot for night out pics. My go to for birthdays!

First Friday Art Walk – Springfield, MO
I did this last year on a date and had so much fun! It’s beautiful to see all the caverns and the tour guides are funny!

The most underrated bar. Grab a drink and play vintage games. They have a back room so plenty of space to hang out with your friends. It’s so slept on

An absolute must do anytime you’re In Springfield!!! The art put into making every part of the museum feel real is insane. The aquarium is the best Aquarium I’ve ever been to! You’ll never want to leave. They also offer things like shark dives!
Wonders Of Wildlife National Museum & Aquarium
My go to tattoo shop!! It’s located in the mall but don’t let that scare you off. I see Holly and her line work is some of the best I’ve seen. Shop minimum is $100 but soooo worth it. Every artist there is talented!
