Various activities and shops to check out in Tulsa.
A multi-award winning park and for good reason. It’s free and so beautiful to stroll through, play, picnic in or attend one of the events held there. In the springs there’s a gorgeous trail with cherry trees that make you feel elsewhere when they blo...
Gathering Place
An art museum, opened in 1939, located in the home of an oil pioneer couple. It has beautiful gardens across the property in addition to the exhibits; a visual feast everywhere you go.
Philbrook Museum of Art
Cool and informative American history and art museum. Established in 1949 by a citizen of the Muscogee Creek Nation, Thomas Gilcrease, the museum now contains a collection with more than 350,000 items. It teaches about hundreds of cultures across Nor...
Gilcrease Museum
One of the coolest local music venues I’ve ever been to. It’s got an old ballroom floor that shifts and bounces with the crowd. Creates an incredible experience when seeing an energetic act.
Cain's Ballroom
One of my favorite, niche gems in Tulsa. You learn a bit about the art deco architecture and history in Tulsa, then you get to travel through time in their store. There’s a candy shop with unique sodas and candy set up like a house front, a room with...
DECOPOLIS Tulsa Art Deco Museum
A retro bowling lounge that you might miss if you don’t know what you’re looking for. They’ve got good food and it’s great for a casual outing with friends to shake things up from the norm. You can reserve lanes online ahead of time as well!
Dust Bowl Lanes and Lounge
Best club in Tulsa. It’s small and there will be a line but I always have a blast when I go. They have some of the better djs and the drinks are yummy.
St. Vitus
My favorite oddities and gem shop. The owner is the sweetest and they offer scavenging classes every month. All items are ethically obtained and they have a couple in store animals you can say hi too. They also have an online store to check out. Love...
Black Moth
Local vintage shop. Great for sneaker heads and shoe lovers. Also great for vintage graphic tees and athletic memorabilia. Not my taste personally, but I can definitely see the appeal if this is someone’s style so I’d still recommend. Plus, support l...
The Racks Tulsa
Great affordable thrift and name brand re-sell shop. Somewhere between a Goodwill and a Marshall’s is where this place would be located. There’s tons of inventory at all times and you can find incredible things if you have the patience.
Half Of Half Name Brand Clothing
Great little comedy club that often gives away free tickets if you give them your email. Shows can be hit or miss but, with the right people, it’s
still a pretty good time!
Bricktown Comedy Club
Dinner and fun for literally everyone! They have pizza buffet, bumper cars, arcade games and more. It’s pretty affordable too. Cannot recommend this place enough.
Tulsa Incredible Pizza Company
Brunch and Coffee
Favorite brunch spots and coffee shops.
Great coffee, great matcha, and great sandwiches. There was a month where I think I ordered their bacon, egg, and cheese with a pH Delight matcha every other day. Their menu may change slightly depending on what they have available but it is always g...
Fulton Street Books & Coffee
Delicious brunch place with some unique items. One of my all time favorite places and their drinks are top notch. Their various breakfast flights are one of the biggest draws in my opinion. Love being able to sample a few different menu items!
Hatch Early Mood Food
One of my bf and I’s favorite brunch-lunch spots. They have two locations, both with cool indoor/outdoor seating. Great food, drinks and a casual atmosphere. Always a good time.
Society Burger
Mix of great coffee and fun things to do. Their patio is cannabis friendly and they host events all throughout the week. Also open late so you can grab a comforting drink and do some work or commune with friends.
Gypsy Coffee House
Beautiful restaurant in Utica Square. Great food at good prices and it’s in a beautiful spot in the city. One of my top 3 brunch spots.
Wild Fork
Dinner
Yummy dinner recs.
Great Irish pub-style restaurant with absolutely delicious food. Their scotch eggs are one of my favorites on the menu. The inside reminds me of walking into a mystery novel. Very dark academia in aesthetic, if that is what you’re in to.
Kilkenny's Irish Pub
Upscale-ish sushi restaurant with a modern atmosphere. There are a couple cushion dishes on the menu and a little something for everyone. Really fun for a date night or night out with friends.
in the raw sushi
Best local ramen spot. Always ask for extra ramen seasoning, it truly makes the dish in my opinion. They’re always friendly and fast. Great happy hour deals as well.
JINYA Ramen Bar - Tulsa
Fantastic cajun-inspired food. Their drinks are delicious too. I love their lobster mac n cheese and it is a great price for what it is. Cannot recommend this place enough.
Nola's ...Creole & Cocktails
Themed ramen shop with a fun energy. The food is decent but I reaaaally like their boba. Fun for families or anime nerds like myself. Overall a good time.
Gung Ho | An anime themed ramen, poke, boba and bubbletea shop in ...
This could fall into brunch too with their all day breakfast menu but overall it’s just good food. I’m a Texas girl at heart and this place helps with the days I’m feeling homesick.
Catrina Fresh Mex
A neat food court and bar with a few pop up shops or art installations intermittently. Great for groups because you can each choose your own thing. Lots of open and covered outdoor seating. One of the best food places in Tulsa!
