Places to take your kids in and around the Tampa area!
Map
Our kids love to visit the aquarium and especially love the touch tanks! Tip: grab lunch and hangout at Sparkman Wharf after!
The Florida Aquarium
There are several areas to explore and great animal interactions. We love feeding the giraffes!
ZooTampa at Lowry Park
This one is better suited for groups who have roller coaster lovers and older kids. There is a great area for younger kids as well though - with two fun climbing and play areas!
Busch Gardens Tampa Bay
Save money on admission to 5 local attractions for one price - aquariums, museums and even Busch Gardens!
Tampa Bay CityPASS
Even my older kids still love to visit the children’s museum. There are a ton of fun interactive exhibits and usually a fun special exhibit!
Glazer Children's Museum
Great experience for dolphin lovers and ocean animal lovers in general.
Clearwater Marine Aquarium
Trampoline park, arcade and bowling alley all in one - located inside of the Countryside mall, which also has an ice skating rink in the middle!
Launch Family Entertainment Clearwater
This place has everything from indoor mini golf to a go cart track. Even a bar for parents and food for the whole family. Prepare to spend several hours (and dollars) here.
Elev8 Fun
A little further from Tampa, but probably the only place you can swim in a real spring AND see mermaids 🧜🏻♀️
Weeki Wachee Springs State Park: Home
In downtown St. Pete you’ll find an amazing playground, splash pad, fishing pier, beach, pizza, and a weekend market - all on the pier!
