Recs from someone who lives here! It’s a beautiful little village that reminds me a bit of a fairytale with its limestone buildings and German and Irish history.

Great restaurants and coffee shops in the heart of downtown Cedarburg.
PJ's has the best breakfast, hands down. I order the denver omelet with pancakes (I split it with my daughter) and coffee.

Love the Starbucks here and it’s usually busy so order ahead on the app. I usually order a tall mocha hot no whip coconut milk

Union House Cedarburg | Restaurant & Bar
We probably order here once per month. I usually get the kung pao shrimp and the wonton soup. My daughter gets the sesame chicken.
New Fortune Asian Cuisine
We don’t usually go here because we love Beanie’s in Port Washington. However, when we do go here, we get the steak tacos and guacamole!
Lime Cantina
We go here a lot because it’s close to our place and the kids menu, which my daughter is 10. She likes the turkey and cheese kids sub with salt and vinegar chips. I like the French dip roast beef sandwich.
The Chocolate Factory
Caramel apples are the best! They’re pretty big, my daughter likes the Oreo covered caramel apple.

My daughter loves the chocolate croissant, they’re pretty big! This is why it smells so good in the streets of Cedarburg every morning!
Boulangerie Du Monde
I love the fire table in the back; sometimes it’s on at night and fun to sit in the back when we are go for a night stroll through the city. I usually get the plain coffee and avocado croissant.

This place has really good food; I usually order the lobster bisque.

There is a Tomaso’s in Door County as well. We usually order a sausage pizza.

We usually just order the house burger! I’ve only been here once and it was a cute place

The cream and crepe cafe is a lovely spot, however my daughter loves my homemade crepes! We have only been here once and we just ordered plain crepes. They were delicious.

This is an excellent place to get real wisconsin syrup or wisconsin honey. I also like the pickled asparagus…I know this is more of a garnish for bloody Mary’s but it’s a random snack in my fridge.

This boba tea shop is inside the Commercial Kitchen. I usually get the classic milk tea.
Nova Boba WI
This distillery makes vodka, gin, and bourbon. Can’t say I’ve been here since I’m not much of a drinker and if I do drink, I look for wine.
Handen Distillery
This is a popular frozen custard spot here in Cedarburg. It’s award winning and in the summer it’s a popular hang out.
Creamy Pig
A wonderful cake shop! We always get the carrot cake because it’s my daughter’s favorite.

This is a popular bar. I rarely drink but if I went here, I’d order a Moscow mule.

This is a lovely place to go with friends for a wine tasting.

This is a lovely restaurant. I would order the salmon.

Wisconsin bar. It’s busy. When I go for a long walk, I might walk by. I’ve never went inside.

Cedarburg Wine and Harvest Festival | September 19-20
There’s nothing like Oktoberfest in Wisconsin and it’s just as much of a party here as it is in La Crosse. People get dressed up, drink German beer, eat brats with sauerkraut, and dance.

The city is lit with luminaries, there’s a trolly ride, Christmas is decorated and celebrated throughout the city, there’s Santa’s workshop, hot cocoa and s’mores, and Christmas classics playing at Rivoli Theater.

This is the only theater you will find with reasonable prices— but it’s cash only. It’s very popular here and my daughter loves going here.
