Dunnegan Memorial Park

This is such a nice quiet park. They have a great walking trail, river access and a playground and sports fields. Itโs rarely busy, so I love to lay on the grass in the shade and read here

This is one of the coolest botanical gardens I have been to. Itโs great to walk around and check out, and spend the rest of the afternoon reading on one of the benches!

So many trails! A few of them have some great reading spots with beautiful views. I also love the information center

The weather in Missouri can be really finicky (cue the random hail storms) so these have been some of my favorite places to crack open a book while inside.

Right downtown and has great food and coffee! I love to come here for the vibes and a nice central place to read. I always sneak away to the back corner!

Ok, this one can be a liiiiitle hard to get through a book because its always pretty lively, but they have great drinks and I will sit and read while waiting for my order!

I am a sucker for Barnes & Noble. Thereโs something very nostalgic about reading here, I almost always end up buying a few books too
