I also read this for a university college class and it is such a beautiful collection. Wonderful poetry and I annotated the hell out of it. So much important indigenous history here talking about decades and centuries of healing.

A wonderfully horrifying collection of black stories. I couldn't put this book down if you begged me to. Each story is so deep and full of meaning.
Out There Screaming: New Black Horror Anthology
Such a great read. It made me cry, as did the film adaptation. A moving queer story that is just very real to the queer love scene.
Spoiler Alert: The Hero Dies: A Memoir
A classic in my LGBTQ+ Literature classes and there is a reason it's a classic. Eye-opening to cis people and just a beautiful story all around.
All Boys Aren't Blue: A Memoir-Manifesto
The best modern lesbian-centered book I have read thus far!! A beautiful butchfemme story and it was such an amazing read. Almost overtook Dirty River in terms of my favorite books.

Truly a butch culture classic. Though some things have aged beyond this book, it is a good reference.

Is it transgender? Is it lesbian? Knowing Virginia Woolf, it's both!! An amazing coded classic and I love this book to pieces. The movie has lots of fun coded bits as well if you're interested in that!!

Amazing read for little queer me in high school. Love all of the queerities of this book. It astonishes me that people still think Oscar Wilde wasn't as gay as the day is long.
