If you’re hosting friends, watching solo, or trying to level up your UFC viewing experience, these are the essentials I always recommend. If you try any of these, let me know what you think — or drop me your own fight night must-haves!
Sounds simple, but having a cozy blanket makes long cards so much better — especially main cards that go until midnight.
A Big, Comfy Throw Blanket
I boost the commentary and crowd noise just a little… it makes the arena vibes feel way more real.
Bluetooth Soundbars
Cheap and instantly makes the whole setup feel like a mini sports bar. I leave mine on “ice blue” for UFC nights.
LED Backlighting for the TV
Pour your chips into a bowl — trust me, it makes the night feel more intentional and less like you’re snacking out of habit.
A Proper Snack Bowl (Not the Bag!)
I always toss in a little chili powder. It sounds weird but it’s elite during a big co-main.
My Go-To Fight Night Snack: Sweet & Spicy Popcorn
Five hours of fights + commentary + yelling = DRY throat. I refill mine a few times a night.
A Reusable Water Bottle (Stay Hydrated!)
Saves me from getting up during a round — especially when a grappling exchange gets spicy
A Mini Cooler for Drinks
I don’t always wear merch, but when it’s a stacked card I love throwing on something fighter-themed.
UFC-Inspired T-Shirt or Hoodie
I jot down scorecards for close rounds. It makes the night way more interactive.
Notepad App / Notes Journal
If you’re chatting with friends or live-tweeting, your battery will tank faster than someone caught in a guillotine.
