YouTube Channels That Teach and Entertain
Comedy meets education—my favorite YouTube channels for cars, DIY projects, and everyday life lessons.
Garrett Mitchell, aka Cleetus McFarland, pioneered the automotive DIY YouTube niche, and it's been really wild to watch him grow in his knowledge of cars, business, and life in general. Great guys, really fun to watch!
Cleetus McFarland
JH (who?), aka Justin Hildebrand, first mage his appearance on the Cleetus McFarland YouTube channel, as the two became friends. JH spun off into his own channel, which is more focused on diesel performance, as he owns and operates his own diesel rep...

Cameron Johnson, owner of CJRC Race Cars, is well known for building super fast promods and race cars that look good! His YouTube channel spiked in popularity after he collaborated with Cleetus McFarland in the build of his 5-second race car named Ea...
CJ Race Cars
Many of you may already know who this is, as he's a future Hall of Fame NASCAR driver, but after the tragic events caused by hurricane Helene in 2024, his path crossed with Cleetus McFarland, and the two became fast friends. Mr. The Biff soon after b...
Greg Biffle - NASCAR Driver
One of the nicest guys on YouTube, by far! Derek Bieri, owner of Vice Grip Garage, purchases old vehicles from well over the country, that have been off the road for decades, gets them running and driving and back home to his garage. Super knowledgea...

When I Just Want a Good Show
The TV shows I turn to when I just want to relax, be entertained, and get pulled into a good story.
Car show presenter turned farmer, follow along as Jeremy Clarkson gets a crash course in managing his farm. The dynamic between Jeremy and his hired hand Caleb and business manager Charlie, is absolutely hilarious!
Clarkson's Farm
If you've seen the original UK version, this is a no brainer! Imagine you have a near death experience, and when you recover, to realize you can see and communicate with ghosts! Such a funny show!
Ghosts
Another great Nathan Fillion show, where his character, John Nolan, leaves his carpentry business and the East Coast behind, to move to LA and join the police academy. Well written and shot, if you like a feel good cop drama, give it a watch!
The Rookie
This show gives major Entourage vibes, with a touch of Seth Rogan humor. First season was hilarious, looking forward to season 2!
The Studio
Follow guests and their vacations to the luxurious White Lotus resort locations, and all the wild and crazy things that go on behind the scenes! Each season carriers a similar thread, but stands alone with twists and turns unique to that season's tra...
The White Lotus
A similar concept to the show Ghosts, but set in an old high school. Follow along as a living student becomes trapped behind the ghost curtain, as she tries to figure out what happened, and what to do next.
School Spirits
Explore a future reality in which people can disconnect their work life from their home life, and live as a severed person. Pretty creepy concept, well written with a great cast!
Severance
Such a great show, set in the 80s, with a wild look into far fetched government programs and technology coupled with seemingly fearless pre-teens always in the mix to save their town from a multidimensional evil. Can't wait for the next season!
Stranger Things
When I’m in the Mood for a Movie
Not every night calls for a show—sometimes you need the full movie experience. These are my go-tos.
Probably my favorite movie of all time. Great story, epic car scenes, great decade for movies! If you haven't seen this--what are you even doing with your life?! Go watch it now!
Back to the Future (1985)
This might be the most quoted movie in my house, such a great one! Based on the popular board game, this movie is hilarious. Great cast, well written, hilarious twists and turns! Give it a shot!
Clue (1985)
When Gaming Is the Only Right Answer
Because sometimes the best fix for a long day is powering up and diving into a good game.
The original Halo: Combat Evolved will always be my favorite. You can even play it with the ORIGINAL graphics in this collection!
Halo: The Master Chief Collection
Really any of the Guitar Hero games are awesome! I got my start on the original on PS2, had such a great time! Still love it as an adult.
Guitar Hero III: Legends of Rock
The best racing simulator ever made! I spent the most time playing the 3rd installment of this series, and so far haven't had a chance to get back into the newer releases. Pulled meant an all-nighter racing this game.
Gran Turismo 3: A-Spec
One of the first PlayStation games I ever played on the PS1. Still one of the best games ever made for that console.
Twisted Metal 2
I liked this version because it was pretty close to the experience playing Twisted Metal 2, where other installments seemed to lose their magic
Twisted Metal: Black
One of the best PC first person shooters I've ever played. I still play it from time to time as an adult.
