I have two boys and one of them is a teenager who brings other teenage boys over regularly. I’ve got some real MVPs as far as cleaning goes in my house and they deserve the recognition.

What started as a way to keep my betta happy and reduce tank cleaning has turned into a beautiful biology lesson. I love creating pretty fish tanks for happy fish. I’m not an expert, but these are the things that work for me.

I have had the privilege of being an elementary school counselor for over 14 years and I teach social-emotional learning lessons in classrooms K-6 every month. I love reading stories, and I love reading stories to kids, but I can be a bit picky when it comes to what I read to them. This is a list of my go-to books. The ones I love to read to classes, that get the best discussions going, and that kids give me the most positive feedback about.

I love Disneyland, but it is not a relaxing vacation. There's lots of prep and planning involved to make it more fun and easy while you're there. I try to pack somewhat light in the parks because I find hauling a lot of stuff around can lead to less fun for me. These are my absolute essentials that I pack for my trip pretty much every time, no matter who I am going with or time of year.

I love my plants and I want them to be happy so they keep making me happy. I've made a list of my favorite go-to items that help me with this. Soil, pots, fertilizer, and the tools that make things a little easier.
