Airport outfit, but make it intentional. I always say, “Comfy does not have to be frumpy!” .You can travel comfortably and still look pulled together. Can Americans please stop dressing like slobs when traveling… 🫣 This Amazon jogger set is my go-to (very much giving the same vibe as the pricier Spanx set) and comes in so many good colors. There are more top options that are adorable and I linked them on my Benable for this outfit. I layered a neutral cropped sweater underneath and threw the sweatshirt + puffer vest on top—because airports and planes are always freezing. Bonus: the vest doubles as a pillow. These Target sneakers are such a win. They feel elevated with the texture and subtle gold detail, hide dirt well, and are actually comfortable enough for travel days. Easy to pair with everything. My Sapahn bag is a staple for flying—phone, cards, ID all within reach without digging through a big tote. I wear it crossbody through the airport, then remove the strap and use it as a clutch at my destination. First trip with the Beis mini weekender and I’m sold. Not bulky or heavy, fits my computer, and the bottom compartment keeps everything organized so the main bag isn’t a mess. Love the strap options and that it slides right onto luggage. This would make such a good gift. Many of these items you can find on Poshmark, and Beis sells gently used bags for a discount also! I haven’t checked Quince, but they have amazing dupes for so many popular items. It would be worth a look!

Creamy orange sorbet - makes me feel like spring! This color orange is not perfect DA. It is closer to TA fan but harmonizes with my clothes. Light and fresh it feels like a soft sunset on a relaxing evening. We are still in long-sleeve weather, but I'm starting to pull in lighter colors that remind me of sunny days ahead. Enjoy! xoxoxo

Coral and red! Not something I would have combined normally but I do love how it looks! This shirt is from poshmark it's old Sezane. I found another one. on Poshmark and a similar one from a boutique that is super cute. Jeans and a tee for the win. Add some jewelry and the whole outfit changes. Style it up, girl! xoxoxo

The Sezane Gaspard cardigan is a forever piece, and when I saw they made a new cropped version, I had to try it out. I love it! There are so many ways to wear this cardigan - backwards with button up the back, open, half open, folded in to look like a v-neck, etc. This navy is so rich and classic it makes me feel sophisticated and delicate. I like how this outfit came together. I kept it simple with mostly shades of blue except for a small amount of brown in my shoes. Sezane pieces are available all over poshmark, but you have to search for a deal as the really hold their value well. This is good as the quality is absolutely there and they last forever. Enjoy! After warm weather and short sleeve shirts, it decided to snow. I had to pivot and decided to wear a skirt. I get into a rut with pants but I do actually like skirts and dresses! I wear a lot more dresses and skirts in the summertime because it feels easier. Nevertheless, these pieces are all oldies but goodies. They are basic and easy to find duplicates. I also found most of them on poshmark if you want exact versions. I skipped a necklace and replaced with large earrings and a turtleneck. I love the dark teal color here - it is one of my favorites. I love a winning combo that you don't have to think about. Just like everyone wants to wear all black, I love to wear all cream. The pants in this photo are the Target dupeversion of the Aritiza Lodge Pant in crepette, color light birch. I loved them at first, but they wrinkled quickly and didn't impress me. I have been looking at the Aritzia ones for years, and I finally got them to try. They are worth it! They do not wrinkle, the fabric is comfortable and not see-through, and they match everything. This is a great investment piece that you won't regret. I also have a pair in burgundy silk version. I found this sweater on Poshmark and there are still more. It is soft and has a beautiful detail to it. Throw in the cute brown bucket bag and you are all set. You can make a lot of versions of this outfit. I plan to convert this to a summer outfit with a cream tank and some sandals. It's always a chic way to go! Enjoy xoxoxoxo

This is a quick formula for me when I’m in the studio! 1. I always must wear heels so I’m tall enough to drape people without chopping their heads off. 2. I have to wear a lightweight top because with all my excited talking energy plus the gray analyst drape I wear, I can easily overheat. Once in the middle of a color analysis I had to run to my closet and change shirts! 3. An Apple Watch is helpful in case I need to listen for one of my kids to reach me. I always put my phone away but sometimes need to be available for emergencies. This is definitely not super fashionable, but this cute cream band does help! Well I guess that wasn’t very complicated. Everyone knows I love jeans. I’m constantly reminding myself there are so many other amazing items of clothing! Come see me and you can pick whatever color you want me to wear. How enticing, huh? Whew! This one was a doozy to put together on the computer, but not physically on. I got inspo from the cover color card, and just kept pulling things. I honestly could have kept going on and on, but I was making a mess and tired of changing. I need an assistant, lol. The point of this is to show that when you have items in your closet that coordinate with your palette, you can make zillions of outfits. It takes a while, but your closet will come together. I have been slowly building an “Autumn Closet” for a few years, and I like to mix high and low. My favorite thing is to find something expensive and beautiful and then try my hardest to find a dupe for it, another similar version of it, a used copy, mega sale, etc. Sometimes when I love something and it's great quality then I spend for the real thing. These tulle skirts are all super affordable and the tops are from Amazon and Target. You can look put together without spending a fortune, especiallly if you buy pieces that coordinate so you can stretch your money and closet further. Enjoy my sweet friends! xoxoxo

I definitely would not have thought to put pink and forrest green together, but I love how this turned out! This pink calla lilly card color combo actually put me on a spiral of trying on tons of different things from my closet with this top. That is a post for another day! I love the satin top with velvet pants finished with some suede pumps. Add a little detail of pearl on earrings and necklace and finish with a leather bag. I had the best 46th birthday! It was a relaxing day with a massage, hugs from my family, lunch with my bestie, and a surprise evening color analysis. It's not surprising I chose jeans and a basic top. It's one of my favorite looks. I kept this outfit basic and perhaps the star of the show is my Sneex. These are extra colorful and work well with a cream top and medium wash jeans. Colorful casual earrings with a sparkly necklance and a surprise fancy ring bring it all together and make me feel like myself. I like to mix high and low items. This burgundy bag was a Christmas present and I have used it so many times already. It's affordable and comes in lots of different colors. Life just gets better and I wouldn't step back in time - I'm only looking forward to the years ahead. Enjoy! xoxoxo

THere is just something classic about jeans and a t-shirt that I will love forever! You can dress it up with a heel or down with a sneaker. I'm wearing leopard as a neutral here and I adore the pop of key lime green with it. Yes, this green is in the Dark Autumn fan! Don't be fooled - Dark Autumn is not only very dark fall colors. You can really play with it and make it look like whatever you want. I love this happy green with some colorful earrings and a gold metallic bag. Enjoy! xoxoxo

Another $19 Anthropologie Nuuly blouse in Dark Autumn for the win! I threw this on because my app Alta Daily (closet app) inspired me with pieces from my closet so I went with it. It turned out pretty well and looked a lot like the AI avatar of me it made. Not too shabby! These heels were my Momma's and I always love wearing things that were hers. I love the Quince pants they remind me of Anthro colettes! This ponte fabric is thick, stretchy, and very high quality. Quince continues to impress me with its items! Enjoy xoxoxo

I love a good deal! I got this blouse on Anthropologie Nuuly for $19. It fits the Dark Autumn palette beautifully with its deep rich tones! I love these Target sailor jeans and also have them in cream. I do always have to size up one full size in this style. I added some gold jewelry and some heels and was ready for my color analysis appointment. I always have to wear heels or I can't clear the drapes very well around people's heads. Ha, ha! Short girl problems. I do love Sam Edeleman hazel pumps - I can wear them for hours without my feet hurting. Enjoy! xoxoxo

When you find something you love and it's not in your colors, what do you do?!? I bought it! I have been admiring this cutie Sezane heart chambray blouse for a long time, and when I saw it at a consignment store in my size, I grabbed it. Is it perfect Dark Autumn? No. Does it look amazing on me? No. Is it ok looking? Yes! Does it match the rest of my clothes? Yes. Does it make me happy? Yes. That's good enough for me. I don't make a habit of buying outside my palette, but when I see something I really love, I do it. This top is muted and has navy in it. It matches the Soft Autumn and Soft Summer palettes, and although it's a little light for me, there are definitely colors that are much worse next to my face. It rates as an “ok” and I like it. I made the rest of the outfit classic and pulled in silver jewelry for fun. I like a classic look loaded with accessories to spice it up. Enjoy! xoxoxo

Ok, I love these cheerful flower painted jeans! I am shocked that I'm wearing them, as they aren't something I would normally choose. Either my fashion is getting better or worse as I age…. I definitely care less what anyone thinks and do what makes me happy. These feel like a fresh bouquet of happy flowers that brighten the day. They will be so cute this summer/spring with different colored tank tops. I love a fun pant that makes the whole outfit. They passed the daughter-approval test which made me feel better about keeping them. I also adore a coral pink top - the warmth suites me better than the cool pinks I used to wear. I just can’t commit to a style, ya’ll. I love trying new things and dipping into all the colors, all the outfits, all the things! I adore these baggy jeans that sit on your hips and go with the flow. They have a slouchy fit and a curved hem to make the legs flowy and fun. Even though they are petite, I still need a little heel with them in case I decide to hem them. Sneex to the rescue. I made my hair a little funky, added extra eyeshadow, paired with a cropped sweater, and kept my bag casual. I am excited for these in the spring and their blue wash counterpart. My advice is, don’t ever feel trapped or like you can’t do something. Who cares? Do it. It’s fun! Also, do I look like I’m trying to be Avril Lavigne in the 90’s? Ha ha ha ha I like her music. o Maddie! She placed second in her presentation for National History Day. We are so proud of her! She asked me to please dress nicely and this is what I came up with. I love how this light peach top from Kettlewell works for me as a “better than bright white,” and it was a little more fun than cream. This (Christmas gift) suede tote from Quince is soooo gooood, and now I want it in more colors! It feels luxurious and it’s beautifully made. These trousers are from Sézane and I love the high waist and accent belt. They are still available in other colors. I also wore them with a navy turtleneck for our family photos. Look at this adorable Happy Beach Dog! I was looking for a better name, but I kept with the cutie dog from the inspo photo. I love these neutrals together, and this Alani cashmere sweater from Anthropologie is one of my favorites. They make this top every year in lots of colors, so it is easy to find used on Poshmark or look at new colors. I love the flowy boxy fit of it, and it is warm but lightweight. The added navy in the earrings made everything a little more fun but still kept it neutral. Enjoy! xoxoxo

Do you have “better than white” options? Stark white is definitely not my best. Do I sometimes wear it anyway? Sometimes. I have, however, found colors that are much more favorable with my skin tone! Besides the creamy neutrals, there are some paler options in my palette. For full transparency, this pale peach color matches True Autumn palette perfectly. It harmonizes with Dark Autumn. This pale peach brings much more harmony to my coloring and works the same way a cream top would. I love the added color, and it makes the outfit a touch more interesting, in my opinion. I added the scarf at the end and realized it had the colors I had already paired together, which was perfect. Everyone is wearing scarves in so many ways these days. Each time I tie it around my neck I just feel weird and it up taking it off. I will keep trying, lol! While brown shoes would also work, I love sneaking in the rosewood and then adding the bag to tie it all together. This may be a touch matchy-matchy, but I loved it! Enjoy xoxoxo

I saw this cute Hutch silk wrap top on Poshark and loved the colors. Originally $140, I got it for $10 - WHOOP! Poshmark is a fun place to shop and you can get amazing deals. I love the perfect Dark Autumn colors of this top, and it feels luxe and fits well. I found several more available still on Poshmark and a couple other sites. It is still winter, but as my brain years for warmer weather I have been wearing brighter colors, but it’s nice to go back to these tried and true hues that work so well and give a chic sophisticated look. I added a great sweater wrap I love from Thread Supply. It is old for me from Evereve, but I found it on Poshmark and another version of it new. It is soft and warm and cozy like you’re wearing a blanket. I love it! I also played with this outfit by pairing it with flat (low chunky heel) Mary Jane shoes and tried it with cream jeans as well. I like all the different ways! I’m not seeing many people wearing straighter slim jeans lately, but I pulled these from the top of my closet because I wanted something different for the day. I threw this together for a day of color analysis. Dark Autumn is a pretty season and although it has darker colors, there are plenty of relatively lighter ones to choose from, too! The Sneex made it ultra comfortable and gave me the height I needed to not clip people's heads when I am moving between drapes. Bahhahaaa! I showed the skirt with some kitten heels and sneakers to give some other options. This top is Athleta and some are on Poshmark. There is also a No Boundaries top in a similar color that I love. Finding autumn greys can be a bit elusive. When I saw this “mortar mushroom” color from Athleta I knew it was a winner! I also found a great autumn grey color from Lululemon - “warm ash grey.” Both match the Dark Autumn swatch beautifully. I like this color as a neutral when you want to depart from the usual browns. These pants are flowy, have some stretch, and very relaxed. They are from aerie last year but I found a lot on Poshmark still. The jacket is Athleta in same color and is still available new. I will add regular sneakers option (instead of Sneex) for the 80% of people that prefer flats. HA! I meant for this to be casual, but in my usual ways I accidentally dressed it up. Subtle Ruffles! The star of this outfit is the delicate Sezane Erin button down blouse that has a little ruffle but isn't over-the-top. It's hard to see the pretty detail on the collar. This is a great shirt to wear your hair up! Good thing I didn't think of that until I was taking it off…. Ha! Anyway, leopard is something I wear often and it's a straight up neutral for me. I usually feel more comfortable in heels than flats, but I do love these brown square toe ballet flats I got on Amazon. I have worn them a lot - they are very comfortable. I added subtle gold heart stud earrings because it is Valentine's week! Add some jewelry to this outfit to kick it up a notch and you're finished. I can't believe this warm weather!
