Look at this adorable Happy Beach Dog! I was looking for a better name, but I kept with the cutie dog from the inspo photo. I love these neutrals together, and this Alani cashmere sweater from Anthropologie is one of my favorites. They make this top every year in lots of colors, so it is easy to find used on Poshmark or look at new colors. I love the flowy boxy fit of it, and it is warm but lightweight. The added navy in the earrings made everything a little more fun but still kept it neutral. Enjoy! xoxoxo

Do you have “better than white” options? Stark white is definitely not my best. Do I sometimes wear it anyway? Sometimes. I have, however, found colors that are much more favorable with my skin tone! Besides the creamy neutrals, there are some paler options in my palette. For full transparency, this pale peach color matches True Autumn palette perfectly. It harmonizes with Dark Autumn. This pale peach brings much more harmony to my coloring and works the same way a cream top would. I love the added color, and it makes the outfit a touch more interesting, in my opinion. I added the scarf at the end and realized it had the colors I had already paired together, which was perfect. Everyone is wearing scarves in so many ways these days. Each time I tie it around my neck I just feel weird and it up taking it off. I will keep trying, lol! While brown shoes would also work, I love sneaking in the rosewood and then adding the bag to tie it all together. This may be a touch matchy-matchy, but I loved it! Enjoy xoxoxo

I saw this cute Hutch silk wrap top on Poshark and loved the colors. Originally $140, I got it for $10 - WHOOP! Poshmark is a fun place to shop and you can get amazing deals. I love the perfect Dark Autumn colors of this top, and it feels luxe and fits well. I found several more available still on Poshmark and a couple other sites. It is still winter, but as my brain years for warmer weather I have been wearing brighter colors, but it’s nice to go back to these tried and true hues that work so well and give a chic sophisticated look. I added a great sweater wrap I love from Thread Supply. It is old for me from Evereve, but I found it on Poshmark and another version of it new. It is soft and warm and cozy like you’re wearing a blanket. I love it! I also played with this outfit by pairing it with flat (low chunky heel) Mary Jane shoes and tried it with cream jeans as well. I like all the different ways! I’m not seeing many people wearing straighter slim jeans lately, but I pulled these from the top of my closet because I wanted something different for the day. I threw this together for a day of color analysis. Dark Autumn is a pretty season and although it has darker colors, there are plenty of relatively lighter ones to choose from, too! The Sneex made it ultra comfortable and gave me the height I needed to not clip people's heads when I am moving between drapes. Bahhahaaa! I showed the skirt with some kitten heels and sneakers to give some other options. This top is Athleta and some are on Poshmark. There is also a No Boundaries top in a similar color that I love. Wearing this skirt feels like pajamas! Enjoy darlings! xoxoxo

Finding autumn greys can be a bit elusive. When I saw this “mortar mushroom” color from Athleta I knew it was a winner! I also found a great autumn grey color from Lululemon - “warm ash grey.” Both match the Dark Autumn swatch beautifully. I like this color as a neutral when you want to depart from the usual browns. These pants are flowy, have some stretch, and very relaxed. They are from aerie last year but I found a lot on Poshmark still. The jacket is Athleta in same color and is still available new. I will add regular sneakers option (instead of Sneex) for the 80% of people that prefer flats. HA! I meant for this to be casual, but in my usual ways I accidentally dressed it up. Subtle Ruffles! The star of this outfit is the delicate Sezane Erin button down blouse that has a little ruffle but isn't over-the-top. It's hard to see the pretty detail on the collar. This is a great shirt to wear your hair up! Good thing I didn't think of that until I was taking it off…. Ha! Anyway, leopard is something I wear often and it's a straight up neutral for me. I usually feel more comfortable in heels than flats, but I do love these brown square toe ballet flats I got on Amazon. I have worn them a lot - they are very comfortable. I added subtle gold heart stud earrings because it is Valentine's week! Add some jewelry to this outfit to kick it up a notch and you're finished. I can't believe this warm weather! Colors aren't only about how you LOOK, they are also about how you FEEL. Yellow makes me happy and I love it. This yellow makes me feel HAPPY, and I like tat. If you are very strict, it may be a touch too bright for Dark Autumn. It's close enough for me though, and I love it! I'm such a sucker for jeans and a simple top. If you add some accessories, it can take the outfit from blah to ta-da. I layered on jewelry, a headband, and added a burgundy bag. I felt great the whole day! Enjoy xoxoxo

I love this delicate color combo! I started with cream jeans and kitten heels then transitioned to sneakers and flowy pants. I am still looking for a great pair of cream jeans so I preferred the second look! This sweater and jacket are old but there are tons of both on Poshmark. I found these great pants at Target that are dupes for the Aritzia lodge pant. I was excited about them at first because they are thick and feel great, but they wrinkled easily and then I felt sloppy. I took the plunge for the true Aritizia pant (I've had my eye on it for a long time) and it's definitely better, but for a steeper price. The Target pants are really popular and everyone loves them, so maybe I'm being too hard on them! Either way, here is a romantic cozy way to spend the day! xoxoxo Enjoy.

My cutie color clients chose this color card for me, and I embraced the plums. This skirt actually did look cute with a dark forest green bodysuit, but I was feeling the monochromatic look, so I went for dark violet instead. I am a sucker for romantic flowy skirts! They are SO comfortable and actually match a ton of tops. You can even wear them with sneakers if you want to! I wore a flowy skirt with Sneex last week. I still need to post that, lol. I need to embrace other types of skirts and expand but for now this is simple and they are so affordable. This skirt is a copycat of an expensive one and I think the quality is great. When you have a simple outfit you can add a lot with accessories and jewelry! My top is CRZ yoga bodysuit in deep purple from last year. Cotton Candy iris and blush. I saw this color combo from Betsy with B a year or so ago and it has stayed in my mind ever since. The “blurple” iris color is a great match for True Autumns and Soft Autumns. I have had this sweater for a long time and bought it for the color from Vici years ago. I have scoured the internet for it but have not had much luck. The skirt is not perfect autumn match, but it's so romantic and since it's not right by my face I don't mind. It's also a fun way to incorporate a sweet pink. It is muted at least, although not really an autumn tone it is closer to something in the summer realm. I wore this to Ella's dance performance because it made me feel like a tiny bit of a ballerina. Hopefully you can put together something similar if you like it. xoxo Enjoy!

Ahh leading up to Valentine’s Day! Had to add some subtle heart earrings. I love teal and brown together. I first thought this sweatshirt would be a little too bright for DA, but it’s not! I was going to wear it either way, but I do like that it doesn’t overwhelm me. It’s a cozy sweatpants day for me after I dressed up earlier in jeans and a sweater. Savanna Sunset! 🦒🐘🩷💜 This blend of coral pinks and dusky purples was so much fun! Note the lilac color is not Dark Autumn, but isn’t it pretty? It was actually incorporated with the plum in the scarf I used. The bag is Ella’s and she brought it to me to borrow - so sweet! This pretty warm pink sweater makes me excited for Valentine’s Day, and it matches the Dark Autumn fan seamlessly. Brrr! Out running errands on this super cold day. I love these Sorrel booties they are light like tennis shoes, very warm, and have great traction for ice and snow. Love the warmth without the bulk! These jeans from Boden are baggy and comfy so you can wear jeans all day without feeling constricted and stiff. Adore this Sézane sweater it’s warm and still cute! Finally the Quince jacket is like wearing a giant blanket all day in a great autumn color. Add the fuzzy fur bag and all set. Hair in bun, diamonds, lipstick. Comfy + chic = my fav! I love this casual look for the weekend! This stylish pullover sweatshirt is old from Anthropologie but still available on Poshmark. I like that it has some detail and style to it - it stays comfy and easy but makes me feel a little more pulled together. These Paige jeans are insanely comfortable and paired with a sherpa pullover in a gorgeous dark brown and Sneex, I am ready to go. This is a casual look that works in a hurry and doesn't leave me feeling frumpy. I also will always love a cream top with jeans. So classic! I put this together because I realized I wear pants all the time and forget to wear skirts and dresses. When I took pics I realized maybe I look like I’m having a midlife crisis and trying to dress like a 16 year old Britney Spears! 🤣🤣🤣 That was not the intention and maybe I am too old for this outfit but I had fun wearing it and I don’t care. Fashion does not have an age and I am covered up and not 🦨y 😂. This sweater skirt is super versatile and can be dressy or casual like I have it here with a sweatshirt. Wild Indigo! This is an absolutely beautiful warm muted blue and it matches the TCI True Autumn fan perfectly. This color can be tricky to find and I love that CRZ Yoga makes it AND at an affordable price. If you don't own anything from this company you are missing out. Almond Joy - caramel, copper, & chocolate brown. These combos are so perfect for each other I love how they flow. This isn't about a candy bar - there is not any blue - it's about the color card featuring almonds! I am in a sweatpants comfy cozy frame of mind with freezing cold weather, and this felt warm and yummy to wear. At first I didn't think the browns were all in the Dark Autumn palette, but they actually harmonized beautifully and matched shades well. This could also work well for True Autumns. ☕️Café au lait! ☕️Browns are so much fun! This top matches the Soft Autumn fan the best, as the value is a little lighter than Dark Autumn, but I love it and I’m wearing it! The hue is still neutral warm works well for me. The high neck with billowy sleeves feels romantic and chic. Dark Autumn softness! Peach, cream, navy, and light lilac. Note the Sapahn light lilac bag matches the TCI True Autumn fan but I love how it harmonizes and adds some fun and versatility to this Dark Autumn look. This is another great example of colors I would not have thought to put together - especially adding the light lilac in but isn't it fun?! I love the Mary Kay sunset peach lipstick as it works beautifully and can be lighter or darker depending on what you want. These pants are from a Free People set and they are super comfy and flowy. I have gotten so much wear out of these leopard print pants! White seems like the obvious pairing but I have worn it with forest green, burgundy, brown, and black. I know other colors will look cute with them as well. I have always wanted a pair of red adidas, and although their cost-per-wear for me is probably not great, I'm still glad I have them! A little bit goes a long way, so I considered red earrings or red purse but decided against it. I love this fur vest and many are still available on poshmark. I also found some similar ones! Finally, this shirt is not cream which would be better on me - I'm looking for something less bright white to replace it with. Until then, I add a little extra blush and lipstick so my face isn't totally drained of color. Enjoy xoxoxo

It's just freezing outside and I'm all layered up to leave the house!

Velvet Nightfall. Dark Autumn Delight! Blend midnight blue, garnet, evergreen, & black for a sophisticated, luxe look. The red garnet velvet pants are J. Crew Factory and the navy turtleneck is WHBM. Coat was my Momma's but you can easily find copy or faux look. Shoes are also old from my Momma but there are lots of black kitten heel shoes to find your favorite. I like the peek of green in the headband and also combining black and navy together. This look was a lot of fun to wear and it's so lovely for the winter months! Enjoy! xoxo

Dark Autumn Neutral Gray! Warm gray, burgundy, and denim. I love this casual look that I decided to dress up with a burgundy lip and some diamond earrings. This would be great with a baseball cap and puffer vest as well. This is a fabulous warm gray that sits perfectly in the dark autumn fan. The top and jacket are from Athleta in the color mortar mushroom. There are also leggings, workout bras, and sweatshirts still in this color. Wow - we went from freezing cold temperatures to a 50 degree day. Boots and fur to jacket and sneakers - gotta stay quick to pivot for all the changes, lol! Enjoy xoxo
