You know me — I couldn't resist this Kate Spade x Target graphic tee even though the stark white is not exactly Dark Autumn approved. Did that stop me? Absolutely not. This is real life, sweet friends. I could see in the mirror that my undertone is so much warmer than that cool white — and honestly? I wore it anyway. Fashion won this round. I'm not out here wearing colors that are truly terrible on me, but I refuse to let my palette become a cage. Here's the color nerd breakdown though — black is best for Dark Winters but still works for me as a Dark Autumn because I can handle that deep value. Dark brown is always my better move, so I softened the whole look with a dark brown bag and brown shoes to bring some warmth back in. And this old black moto jacket? I hid it in the back of my closet for years thinking I couldn't wear black. She deserved better. 🖤 This outfit is actually perfect for Dark Winters and would be a total yes for Dark Autumns if that tee came in a warm off-white instead. Felt like I was living as a Dark Winter for a day and honestly… it was kind of fun. Tools not rules, friends. Learn to live in your colors in a way that gives you freedom, not restrictions. I saw a photo of these jellyfish in my daughter’s school project and immediately thought — dark brown, cinnamon, and navy. That's a Dark Autumn outfit right there. Nature really does know what she's doing. We've been having those weird cold spring days where you want to dress for warm weather but also don't want to freeze, so I made two versions! Pants and long sleeves for the chilly days and a sleeveless denim top with shorts when the sun finally cooperates. Same color story, different vibe. (Side note — the avatar has the top tucked in and I would prefer it out and free. Fun fact — these beauties are actually bioluminescent! When disturbed they put on a blue-green glow underwater. Stunning to look at, absolutely terrifying to swim near. Hard pass on that part! Dark brown, cinnamon, and navy together are so quintessentially Dark Autumn. This embroidered top is one of my favorites and I normally wear it with blue jeans but I wanted to switch it up and make it feel a little more autumny. Enter olive wide legs. So happy with this combo! The olive and the warm tones in the embroidery just play so nicely together. This is the kind of top that does all the work — you just need a simple bottom and good accessories and you're done. Top is from a boutique last year but you can still find it in several online boutiques. I can link, you can search on poshmark, or do a google image search. I was able to find it in several places. It is so versatile it looks great even with an off white jean, denim, or a solid color short. Okay the bag. When I was in NYC I completely fell in love with the Bottega Veneta Andiamo bag. Love the versatility of it! Could not get myself to pay for the real one though. 😂 Found this one on Amazon and honestly I love it so much I bought it in cream too. No regrets! And these sandals have a little story. They've been sitting on my Poshmark page forever because I kept telling myself I was done with them. Except I kept wearing them. Every single time. I love a dark lemon color! This skirt fits True Autumn palette more than Dark Autumn. It’s a touch too vibrant for DA, but it’s on the bottom half of my body and I still love it. It matches my clothes and harmonizes and so I wear it. I bought it used from Nuuly and I have gotten so much wear out of it! I threw on yellow earrings to make it playful but you could dress this up with gold. The shoes match everything and the bag is from Quince. They have awesome stuff - their leather is soft and yummy and they are very durable. I have not been disappointed yet! This outfit was for a color analysis client on a warm day so I soaked up the sun and went golden! I put on self tanner the morning of this outfit but clearly it did nothing. I think it was probably too old to work, LOL! Time to buy some fresh product. Enjoy! Xoxo

Ok, I love these cheerful flower painted jeans! I am shocked that I'm wearing them, as they aren't something I would normally choose. Either my fashion is getting better or worse as I age…. I definitely care less what anyone thinks and do what makes me happy. These feel like a fresh bouquet of happy flowers that brighten the day. They will be so cute this summer/spring with different colored tank tops. I love a fun pant that makes the whole outfit. They passed the daughter-approval test which made me feel better about keeping them. I also adore a coral pink top - the warmth suites me better than the cool pinks I used to wear. Silk Exhale! This outfit is for the days you feel puffy like a marshmallow and cannot fathom the thought of tight pants on your waist! Silky elastic waist pants where you can exhale and be comfortable but still cute. These Day Trip sport silk pants from Left on Friday are a Godsend! I chose to wear them today because after a trip of eating way too much, I needed a pair of pants with an elastic waistband! They are flowy and soft and fabulous PLUS easy to wash. You can dress them up and wear with heels and a nice top, you can wear them over a swimsuit with flip flops, and you can make them sporty with sneakers. They really do it all. I absolutely love them. I also adore the color combination of light blue and burgundy. The Dark Autumn light blue is tricky to find. I have a couple old Target workout tops that match the swatchbook well. The tops linked here are “so so” matches. The Athleta one is close but needs to be a little more saturated, and the Express one that I am wearing harmonizes with the Dark Autumn fan but is not really perfect. It's good enough for me and I love this look! Enjoy! P.S. - The other Left on Friday sport silk pants are also wonderful - the Journey Pant with a drawstring.

On first glance you might not think this blouse would match the Dark Autumn fan, but it does! You know me - I’m always trying to wear my colors in an unpredictable way. Just because you’re an Autumn doesn’t mean you have to look earthy all the time! Don’t get me wrong, I love that look as well. The colors in this top make me happy! I kept the rest of the outfit simple with gold earrings, a floating clear crystal necklace, light jeans, and neutral shoes. I am a big fan of these jeans! They have a slouchy fit and a crossed seam that gives a really fun shape and I love the way they move when I walk. This top is on Poshmark and also on Easy Clothes. Airport outfit, but make it intentional. I always say, “Comfy does not have to be frumpy!” .You can travel comfortably and still look pulled together. Can Americans please stop dressing like slobs when traveling… 🫣 This Amazon jogger set is my go-to (very much giving the same vibe as the pricier Spanx set) and comes in so many good colors. There are more top options that are adorable and I linked them on my Benable for this outfit. I layered a neutral cropped sweater underneath and threw the sweatshirt + puffer vest on top—because airports and planes are always freezing. Bonus: the vest doubles as a pillow. These Target sneakers are such a win. They feel elevated with the texture and subtle gold detail, hide dirt well, and are actually comfortable enough for travel days. Easy to pair with everything. My Sapahn bag is a staple for flying—phone, cards, ID all within reach without digging through a big tote. I wear it crossbody through the airport, then remove the strap and use it as a clutch at my destination. First trip with the Beis mini weekender and I’m sold. Not bulky or heavy, fits my computer, and the bottom compartment keeps everything organized so the main bag isn’t a mess. Love the strap options and that it slides right onto luggage. This would make such a good gift. Many of these items you can find on Poshmark, and Beis sells gently used bags for a discount also! I haven’t checked Quince, but they have amazing dupes for so many popular items. It would be worth a look!

Creamy orange sorbet - makes me feel like spring! This color orange is not perfect DA. It is closer to TA fan but harmonizes with my clothes. Light and fresh it feels like a soft sunset on a relaxing evening. We are still in long-sleeve weather, but I'm starting to pull in lighter colors that remind me of sunny days ahead. Enjoy! xoxoxo

Coral and red! Not something I would have combined normally but I do love how it looks! This shirt is from poshmark it's old Sezane. I found another one. on Poshmark and a similar one from a boutique that is super cute. Jeans and a tee for the win. Add some jewelry and the whole outfit changes. Style it up, girl! xoxoxo

The Sezane Gaspard cardigan is a forever piece, and when I saw they made a new cropped version, I had to try it out. I love it! There are so many ways to wear this cardigan - backwards with button up the back, open, half open, folded in to look like a v-neck, etc. This navy is so rich and classic it makes me feel sophisticated and delicate. I like how this outfit came together. I kept it simple with mostly shades of blue except for a small amount of brown in my shoes. Sezane pieces are available all over poshmark, but you have to search for a deal as the really hold their value well. This is good as the quality is absolutely there and they last forever. Enjoy! After warm weather and short sleeve shirts, it decided to snow. I had to pivot and decided to wear a skirt. I get into a rut with pants but I do actually like skirts and dresses! I wear a lot more dresses and skirts in the summertime because it feels easier. Nevertheless, these pieces are all oldies but goodies. They are basic and easy to find duplicates. I also found most of them on poshmark if you want exact versions. I skipped a necklace and replaced with large earrings and a turtleneck. I love the dark teal color here - it is one of my favorites. I love a winning combo that you don't have to think about. Just like everyone wants to wear all black, I love to wear all cream. The pants in this photo are the Target dupeversion of the Aritiza Lodge Pant in crepette, color light birch. I loved them at first, but they wrinkled quickly and didn't impress me. I have been looking at the Aritzia ones for years, and I finally got them to try. They are worth it! They do not wrinkle, the fabric is comfortable and not see-through, and they match everything. This is a great investment piece that you won't regret. I also have a pair in burgundy silk version. I found this sweater on Poshmark and there are still more. It is soft and has a beautiful detail to it. Throw in the cute brown bucket bag and you are all set. You can make a lot of versions of this outfit. I plan to convert this to a summer outfit with a cream tank and some sandals. It's always a chic way to go! Enjoy xoxoxoxo

This is a quick formula for me when I’m in the studio! 1. I always must wear heels so I’m tall enough to drape people without chopping their heads off. 2. I have to wear a lightweight top because with all my excited talking energy plus the gray analyst drape I wear, I can easily overheat. Once in the middle of a color analysis I had to run to my closet and change shirts! 3. An Apple Watch is helpful in case I need to listen for one of my kids to reach me. I always put my phone away but sometimes need to be available for emergencies. This is definitely not super fashionable, but this cute cream band does help! Well I guess that wasn’t very complicated. Everyone knows I love jeans. I’m constantly reminding myself there are so many other amazing items of clothing! Come see me and you can pick whatever color you want me to wear. How enticing, huh? Whew! This one was a doozy to put together on the computer, but not physically on. I got inspo from the cover color card, and just kept pulling things. I honestly could have kept going on and on, but I was making a mess and tired of changing. I need an assistant, lol. The point of this is to show that when you have items in your closet that coordinate with your palette, you can make zillions of outfits. It takes a while, but your closet will come together. I have been slowly building an “Autumn Closet” for a few years, and I like to mix high and low. My favorite thing is to find something expensive and beautiful and then try my hardest to find a dupe for it, another similar version of it, a used copy, mega sale, etc. Sometimes when I love something and it's great quality then I spend for the real thing. These tulle skirts are all super affordable and the tops are from Amazon and Target. You can look put together without spending a fortune, especiallly if you buy pieces that coordinate so you can stretch your money and closet further. Enjoy my sweet friends! xoxoxo
