These are the products I recommend for college students or young adults living on their own for the first time and don’t know what to buy for their space.

Products that clean well and are affordable
You don’t have to have this but it’s a great product for scrubbing bathtubs, showers, sinks, countertops. It lasts too - you only need to use a small amount usually to get the job done.
Soft Scrub
This soap washes well, lasts longer than other brands that I've tried and doesn't need a lot to get the job done. I have it on subscribe and save so I get bigger bottles at a better price than if I bought this in store.
Palmolive Ultra Dish Soap Oxy Power 10oz
Affordable, smells great and you can use it to clean your floor, baseboards, windowsills, cabinets, chairs, tables. Works for a lot of your cleaning needs.
Fabuloso
Does what you want it to and again, can be used to clean so much more than just floors. Walls, sinks, baseboards, doors. It works on them all.
Mr Clean Floor Cleaner
My fave cleaner. Smells good, cleans great and leaves the bathroom shining. It feels so clean after I use these or spray can they sell. This is one of those products that I have to have the name brand.
Scrubbing Bubbles
Powerful, longer lasting and easier to use than liquid bleach. It clings to whatever you’re using it on which is helpful for clothing.
Thick Bleach Gel

Cleaning Helpers
These will grip any dirt, dust or grime you're trying to clean. I prefer these over paper towels for cleaning tube, showers, sinks. They work well to wash dishes too if you're not into sponges.
Microfiber Cloth
If you can afford one/have space, this is a good vacuum and you can’t beat the price! I use this for my basement and garage - it has no issues picking up small pieces, detach the hose and gets cobwebs like a champ.
Bissell CleanView Compact Upright Vacuum
I love this thing. Holds a good amount of water, fun to press the peddle and wring out the mop. Doesn't take up too much space to store. I throw the mop heads into the laundry after use and they come out clean and ready for the next round.
O-Cedar - Household Mops & Bucket Sets ...
If you don’t have room or can’t afford a vacuum, a broom will get you through. I like this brand because the bristles are hard and you’re able to catch a lot of dust and dirt.
