Magic. Literally. Best Harry Potter in my opinion. Read the previous books in order first, though!
Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix (Harry Potter Series #5)|Hardcover
An INSANELY good book. Since I was a child, I’ve always loved that water is the main element (pun?) and that the story is very fun while being serious.
Percy Jackson & the Olympians: The Lightning Thief (2010)
I absolutely LOVE Harry Potter, and although this is not my favourite Harry Potter, I still love it so much because it’s unlike any of the other ones. It’s very engaging. Love it.
Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire (Harry Potter Series #4)
I have loved this book since I was a very small child. The movie is good too, but nothing beats the book. It’s very immersive and it actually made me buy a bookmark as I didn’t want to damage the pages by folding them at the corner. Excellent read.
The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe: Journey to Narnia in the classic ...
This was introduced to me by a friend, after years of not bothering to read it. What a huge mistake. This is insane, the story is brilliant, and the amount of depth you get is very good. Love this book.
The Lord of the Rings, Part 1: Discover Middle-earth in the Bestselling Classic ...
Love this series. The lightning thief is the best one in my opinion, but it’s still an amazing story. Highly recommend to anyone who likes fantasy (like me!). Definitely all hero!
Percy Jackson and the Sea of Monsters: Bk. 2 – Pages of Hackney
This book just hits the spot when it comes to fantasy. It’s amazingly weird and just ticks all the boxes in a story I like. Really love this book.
Miss Peregrine's Home For Peculiar Children by Ransom Riggs | Waterstones
This book makes you wonder… a lot. It’s one of those stories that makes you reflect on your own life and whether or not you really know yourself. It’s super intriguing and I really like it.
The Alchemyst (The Secrets of the Immortal Nicholas Flamel #1)|Hardcover
So good. Read this years ago, still have it under my bed. Great storyline. Brings out the inner child in me that never truly left ahah.
The Magic Thief: Book 1 : Prineas, Sarah
💀 Creepy Stuff
Such an eerie story. Honestly so good. In high school, I read this in the library during those English lessons when the teacher couldn’t be bothered so scheduled you for “independent reading”. I don’t know how to categorise this… sci-fi? Horror? Must...
The Adjusters : Taylor, A.G.
A classic story. Very creepy but well written and everyone knows about Dracula.
Dracula by Bram Stoker
Really makes you get creeped out. It’s such a great story, and so is the film, but the book really makes you want to read on and on. Sleep doesn’t matter, just keep reading.
Bird Box: A Novel|Paperback
I’d be a FOOL not to recommend this story. It’s eerie and downright disturbing. How did they make this a movie? For children? Madness!
Coraline|Hardcover
I’d be so surprised if you haven’t at least heard of this story. It’s terrifying but you just feel the need to keep on reading. Love it so much. If you like disturbing stories, please give this a go!
The Shining|Paperback
This story really hits hard with the themes within the pages. It wasn’t an easy read, but the way it is written is just marvellous. Very talented author. Very unsettling story. *slow clap*
