When you think of Charleston, South Carolina, I'm sure you think of cobblestone streets and colorful houses. Gas-lamp porches and old town charm. And you would be right! But James Island, the home to Folly Beach, is a pocket of the southern city that offers laid back beach vibes and delicious dining options (at usually more afforadable pricing!) If you're in the area, here is a list of my favorites and must-tries.

Long haul flights, short hops, first class or back of plane - these are my must haves! I was a flight attendant for years and now travel often and have tried it all. I always avoid buying last-minute items at the airport as the prices are so marked up. Also, as someone who finds it nearly IMPOSSIBLE to sleep on flights, trust me when I say my research is thorough.

Beauty Must-Haves for a 38 year old mom who likes to keep it natural but go full glam on occasion! Every item on this list I've repurchased at least three times. Tried and TRUE. While Sephora carries the most products, your local pharmacy likely has a few items as well. Mixing luxury brands with store bought is how I keep my make-up and toiletry bag!
