Dessert🍦
DE-FREAKING-LISH!! You can’t go wrong with whichever flavor you choose but my personal favorites are the chocolate chip mint and the pumpkin!
Cheesecakes by Alex Twin City
Very good! This is a weighed frozen yogurt place so be careful how much you get! It gets pricy fast.
sweetFrog Premium Frozen Yogurt
Ugh, to die for! My mom always surprises me with something from here and it’s always so freaking good. Their macarons are always the best!
Bobby Boy Bakeshop
Every Monday you can get a free cake square, no purchase necessary! Every big event or celebration, I’ve stopped into Dewey’s and gotten something perfect for the occasion. They actually helped me with the gender reveal for my twins!

Coffee shop and bakery. Need I say more?
Camino Bakery

The best parks for families.
This is the best park we’ve seen so far. My kids love it, my husband loves it, I love it. There’s so many things for all ages. Along with all the fun slides and things to climb on, it’s covered in beautiful artwork done by local children. Handicap ac...
Everyone's Playground
If you want a day out in nature, hanging rock is definitely the place to be. Climb the mountain, take a swim, or go find all the waterfalls. Any activity will be a fun one!

We call this the dinosaur park. Your littles will have so much fun playing and running away from the dinosaurs (the dinosaurs don’t move but my kids imagine they do lol)
Washington Park

Greensboro Gardens
Also taken a lot of photos here. Very serene
Greensboro Arboretum
Museums🏰📸
If museums are your thing, we have a few!
This is a staple for Winston-Salem. I grew up going on field trips here. The tour can be a little pricey but it’s a very interesting tour if you’ve never experienced it before! The Moravian cookies and flapjacks are so good! Also a cute photo spot!
Old Salem Museums & Gardens
If you’re a history lover, this is a fun museum for the 336. This is the house that the Reynolds family (RJ Reynolds aka the tobacco guy) had built and lived in. So many photo opportunities.
Reynolda House Museum of American Art
It commemorates the Feb. 1, 1960, sit-ins at a whites-only lunch counter in Greensboro by four Black college students from North Carolina A&T State University — David Richmond, Frank McCain, Ezell Blair, and Joseph McNeil. Must check it out!
International Civil Rights Center & Museum
Perfect for insta photos! Only open Thursday-Sunday

Random outdoor🤪
A mish mosh of fun things that happen to be outdoors.
Such a fun water park in the triad! We had passes one summer before we had kids and we went so many times! It’s definitely an all day thing so make sure you bring your sunscreen and some snacks!

Fun bar that has a bull you can ride! I will admit, this is more of a younger persons bar but if you’re a young person or you like being around young adults, this is the spot!
Whiskey Dawgs
A fun little bar that has good drinks and vintage games! Spend your night playing skee-ball or pinball. Delicious drinks! My favorite is the Pretty in Pink cocktail!
