My favorites for size 1! Very blowout proof
Kirkland Signature Diaper Size 1, 96-count
Great diapers, but go a size up for best fit and blowout protection!
Parent's Choice Diapers in Diapers(25)
Not too wet, but nice and gentle for baby’s bottom.
Love this! Doesn’t take up too much counter space, and comes with a handy table that tells you exactly how long to heat the milk. Also works for defrosting!
Newborn and Infant Milk Bottle Warmers
These are literally the BEST for burp cloths. Super absorbent and easy to wash.
Prefold Diapers
Lightweight, easy to wash, and easy for you to see your baby.
This pillow saved my back during pregnancy, and once my baby came, I used it as a nursing pillow, and as an elevated surface for tummy time!
Boppy Side Sleeper Pregnancy Pillow - Gray Falling Leaves
Not only did these keep me from leaking through my shirt, but they’re soft on sore nipples. And they come with a little laundry bag that doubles as a baby sock bag!
Lansinoh Washable Nursing Pads with Mesh Wash Bag - White - 4ct
The only nipple butter that helped my Grand Canyon sized cracks!
Earth Mama Organics Nipple Butter Breastfeeding Cream - 2 fl oz
I love this pump! It’s awesome, just make sure you get inserts. It only comes with 1 flange that’s 24 mm. Check out the inserts on this list. They not only fit beautifully, but also are cheaper than buying more flanges!
Medela Harmony Manual Breast Pump with PersonalFit Flex
These inserts fit into ANY 24 mm flange, so can be used for whatever pump you have. Durable and comfortable!

Strollers and car seats
Love this little guy! Easy to get together, lightweight, and reclines for the bitty babies.
Mockingbird Single-to-Double Stroller 2.0
Got this for when I have my next kid, but I already use it! Lightweight, but better on rough terrain, and it holds a lot. Bottom seat can hold car seat and top seat can be removed!
Graco has great car seats! I love my infant seat from them (same as the first picture). They also have convertible seats, but as a first time mom, you will want one you can carry!

I don’t have this, but I wish I did! This is a purchase I wish someone had recommended to me as a first time mom.

My little one LOVES this. The sloth itself keeps her occupied and she loves chewing on the teether. The music isn’t bad either!

Activity and gear
Great for independent play and tummy time, without being incredibly overstimulating for you or your baby!
Baby Activity Gyms & Playmats
Absolutely adore this wrap for a newborn! Easier to get on than it looks, and works super well!
Quality Baby Wrap Carrier for Newborn
I love this carrier for an older baby! Easy to out on, easy to get baby in and out of, and the buckle strap supports your bag! Also cooler than the wrap for warm temperatures.
Ergonomic Baby Carriers and Baby Wrap Carriers
It took a little bit for my baby to be able to use this, but now that she can, at 3 months old, it’s her favorite place to be! I can’t wait to use the jumper.
Baby Swing Jumper | 2-in-1 & Various Designs
A bit pricey, but well worth it if you can ‘swing’ it! My little one loves napping in it after her early morning nursing session, and you can connect it to your phone so you can maybe get some work done!

Nursery bedding and sleep essentials
These are soft, stretchy, and fit most crib mattresses. I love mine, even though my baby prefers sleeping on soft blankets….
Crib Sheets in Baby Sheets(969)
Another favorite of mine! Also, don’t get special changing pad sheets. I also use these to cover my changing pad, and they work beautifully!
You can use these over or under your crib sheets, or just for baby to lay on to play! One side is easily wipeable, and the whole thing can go in the washer if it needs to!
Baby Waterproof Pad
I didn’t get this until a month after my little one was born. Nap time has been so much smoother since getting it, plus the light makes it easy to keep her from being too awake in the early morning hours.
Easysleep Sound White Noise Machine with 25 Soothing Sounds and Night ...
My baby HATED being swaddled, so we dressed in a onesie, sleeper, and one of these sleep sacks. Make sure you get the ones with the fold over mitts, so baby doesn’t scratch themselves in their sleep!
Long Sleeve Sleep Sacks for Babies | Soft, Safe & Comfortable
Even though they can’t go in the crib, you need 2-3 of these! They’re the best for in the swing, playing on the floor, or naps in a big bed, under supervision, of course!
Soft Baby Blankets | Ultra Soft Fleece & Plush Designs for Little Ones
These are large and lightweight. Even if you don’t use them to swaddle, they make great sun shades, and light napping blankets when baby is older!
Muslin Swaddle Blankets
These are good for nap time when it’s warm, or for bedtime, if you have the right footie sleeper on. Lightweight, and many have double zippers to make changing diapers easier!
Sleepsack® Wearable Blankets - Halo Sleep
The first pictures is actually mine!
We opted for this pack-and-play/bassinet duo instead of a crib. My baby fit the bassinet for 3 months, and has graduated to the hammock-style section now. Comes with a mattress and easy to find a second mattress ...
Pack 'n Play Playards & Playpens
If I were to get a crib, it would be one of these! Converts to a toddler bed, day bed, or full-size bed, so grows with your child. Mattresses and some conversion pieces are sold separately, however, so can get a bit pricey.

Definitely get a changing table dresser! You’ll need the space, and if you get one with shelves, your baby will try to climb it eventually!
Changing Tables & Dressers - Baby
If you already have a dresser, a dresser top changing tray may be the way to go! They have grips so they won’t slide around. Unfortunately, many don’t come with a changing pad.

I almost didn’t get these, because I was told baby towels were pointless and didn’t work. Well, these do! They dry incredibly well, and are super soft, so they don’t chafe baby’s skin! I love these towels so much, and they’re pretty affordable too!
