I first got into K-pop in 2012 when Gangnam Style was popular, a year after that I decided I wanted to learn the correct pronunciation for the lyrics. That led me down a rabbit hole, I found Shinee! I listened to them for that entire year, but afterwards wasn’t much into it. Until 3 years after that…I found Astro, BTS, Block B, etc. Basically all 2nd gen and 3rd gen groups I was into. Astro solidified my interest in K-pop after that. Now, as I’m in my 20s I’d like to help others either broaden their music horizons or just find a new song to listen to!
As of now I’m a fan of all generations of k-pop! My interest has went further and even into t-pop, p-pop, j-pop/rock, etc. If anyone would like recommendations for that let me know! :)
