As a former NYC resident of 8 yrs, I've been spoiled with great food. Denver has some amazing spots - you just may have to look for them! Here are a few of my favorite places to frequent when I'm not cooking at home.

Closest I’ve come to east coast style sushi. Amazing quality delivered! I’m excited to go in person soon. Get the cucumber wrapped lobster tempura roll it’s life changing
Kazumi Sushi
Amazing wings with a ton of flavors! Very cozy feel to the place. They also have an amazing beer selection
Vine Street Pub & Brewery
No frills sushi spot in Sunnyside. They have amazing wagyu nigiri. It’s a great spot to walk in and easily grab a table in a great area!
Nozomi
One of my go to spots in LoHi for awesome bar food. I've tried most of the menu and nothing is ever a miss. Pro tip is to get the turkey with a side of coleslaw and fries. Guy Fieri came here and loved the tots!
Highland Tavern
As someone from NJ, this is one of the best Italian spots I've found here in Denver. It's on the pricier side but worth it. Get a pizza, salad and pasta combo
Luca
Located inside Rino Country Club, this is a small food window run by Philly guys. It's our favorite smashburger in the city! I'm not even a waffle fry fan but I dream about those with their ranch. Try the wings if you like a buttery saucey buffalo!
Dalton's Cheeseburgs
Gluten free restaurant! You seriously cannot tell anything is gluten free at all. The salmon is amazing!
Acova
$0.75 wings and $2 oysters on Monday! Amazing deal for great food in a casual setting
Revival Denver Public House
They started as a food truck and then were in Avanti and Edgewater market. The best!
