Doesnt have to be this one! Just use a slow feeder bowl from the start. Collies can gulp food, increasing the risk of bloat. Mine used to puke after eating too fast and this was a lifesaver!

Get one that accommodates their adult size, but use a divider initially. Provides a crucial safe den. She also loves using the borders as pillows 🐾
Comfort Dog Bed
The one thing I wish I had a gallon of on day one. Standard cleaners don't eliminate the odor entirely. Doesn’t have to be this one, but this is the one I use that works for me! Make sure is a -dog- enzymatic cleaner!

Dog Gate
She loves this one bc of the soft texture but is also convenient for me, since I can easily clean it! I use it to cover her bed to avoid accidents! Get a spare one as well bc accidents DO happen
Waterproof but Plush Washable Dog Blanket

She loves tagging along so I got her a car seat, safety first! Its also convenient for you as its waterproof (again, accidents WILL happen when you least expect them) and this makes it harder for her to be all over the place while you are driving

A well-fitting harness is better than a collar for a puppy learning to walk, protecting their neck from pulling.

Grooming THE double coat
Your primary tool. Use it often to get them used to brushing and prevent mats as the adult coat grows in.
Pin brush
Crucial for the "blow-out" season. Don't use a standard Furminator; it can damage the delicate outer guard hairs.
Long tooth Undercoat Dog Comb
Use this for detail work behind the ears and in the "pantaloons" (feathering), which mat easily.
Greyhound Metal Comb for Dogs
A gentle, tear-free formula for those inevitable muddy paws and unexpected messes.

Look for KONG or Goughnuts brand. Collies have strong jaws and will shred soft toys immediately.
