We loved this campground as it’s nestled in the trees below the mountains. Wood for fires was free and very easy to camp!
Johnston Canyon Campground
This was a stunning campsite that did not disappoint! The lakeside spots book quickly, but there are many quiet spots amongst the trees. Firewood was free at this campsite with washrooms and station to wash dishes.
Two Jack Lakeside Campground
Beautiful scenery, lovely staff with tons of space!
Tunnel Mountain
Incredible views of the mountains from this campsite, it’s stunning! Sample firewood and portable washrooms available.
Silverhorn Creek Campground
Located in Jasper, this campsite is worth visiting. This spot is first come first serve!
Waterfowl Lakes Campground
Kananaskis campsite has wonderful mountain scenery and is famous for its trout fishing.
Bow Valley Provincial Park
Free firewood and clean washrooms, this spot is great to stay overnight. No running water or amenities at this site.
Rampart Creek Campground
Features a full-service hard-side RV camping section and separate soft-side area with forested sites for tents and tent trailers.
Lake Louise Campground
This is a quiet & secluded option. It has free firewood, water & bear safe food lockers for walk-in tenting.
Mosquito Creek Campground
Large campsite close to town. They have great facilities available but spots go quick!
Whistlers Campground
A campsite located in Jasper. It’s close to town but a very small campsite. It’s also one of the older campgrounds in the area.
Wapiti Campground
Further from town, and a lot more remote. There isn’t much power or service out here. This is recommended for folks looking to unplug!
Wabasso Campground
Wooded area and rustic. 43 campsites are first come first serve and have picnic tables, fireboxes and are suitable for tents or small RVs up to 7 meters (24 feet) in length. A maximum of 6 people and two vehicles are permitted on each site. All tents...
