A Real Pain: is a very down to earth picture. It takes you on a trip to Poland with two cousins who are vastly different. It’s about family trauma, history and learning to love even through differences.

The Substance: An incredibly disturbing film, but a powerful one at that. It’s got humor, gore, and some seriously out there scenes. This was such a fun ride and it made me think about the film, days later.

Nosferatu: Another cinematic masterpiece. This film was stunning, frightening and absolutely beautiful. Lily-Rose Depp gives an unforgettable performance with zero CGI. A film I thought about for days afterwards.

The Wild Robot: This film made me weep uncontrollably. It also had a scene that very much so reminded me of my favourite film, Fly Away Home. This is a touching film for the whole family.

Firecrackers: Okay, so I’m biased again, because I worked on this film, but it’s such a powerful picture. It deals with troubled youth, trauma, friendship and survival. It’s beautifully shot & an excellent Canadian film.

I loved the premise of this film so much. It moved me, had me on edge and also had me on the brink of tears.

Not enough love for this touching film. It hits so
many important themes. The broken and corrupt prison system, grief, masculinity, emotional maturity, friendship, community and the arts. Beyond moved by this film.
Sing Sing
Loved seeing an emotionally mature relationship on screen. This one was very real, raw and vulnerable. Florence & Andrew’s chemistry was also lovely to see.
