A list of folk records everyone should own on vinyl. Most of these are indie / up-&-coming artists, but I threw in a few classics as well. As always, please shop at your local record shops, or directly from the artists / labels.
“If I Told” is one of my favourite folk songs, and this whole record is stunning.

This is a little outside of the folk genre and more in the folk/rock category, but an excellent selection nonetheless. If you’re not familiar with Julia Jacklin, you gotta get listening!

Okay, you’re probably familiar with Joni Mitchell, but I had to add this one on the list incase you’ve never dived into this brilliant record.
Blue by Joni Mitchell
Another record you’re probably familiar with, but I had to include because it’s perfect front to back.
