Another highly anticipated album to come out this year is fro quickly, quickly. This is a very hip and fun indie artist. Super percussive and rhythmic, it gives vibes of tame impala but in it’s own unique way.

Another Canadian artist that is making a splash. I love NIA’s voice, production and songwriting style. A total indie-pop queen.

Surprise, surprise.. Another Canadian artist making their way onto my list. I would describe this as folk-alternative. It feels classic with subtle slide guitar making it an easy listen.
‘Beautiful Neighbourhoods’ by Braden Lam
ratbag hails from New Zealand, so you know it’s gonna be good. Not only is all of the artwork from this artist incredibly cool & unique, but the songs are too. You have to hear for yourself.

Horsegirl is a very hip indie band. I’ve enjoyed the releases they’ve put out in the past and this new song is no different. This band feels like they’d be one you’d discover randomly by stumbling into a bar during SXSW.

Hannah Cohen is effortlessly cool and her music reflects that. She’s very chill and you can picture a sunset when listening to this song.

This feels like Mk.gee meets Tame Impala almost? It’s most definitely its own unique style, but it’s still a very cool, funky and well written song.

I love Canadian artists okay!? I feel like we got some incredible talent coming out of the country right now and this is one of those artists. She’s pop/alternative and I freakin love it. The first single from this album reminded me of Wet Leg.

The fact that these two are making a country album, has me SENT. A beautiful single giving us a taste of what’s to come on this full-length.

Miya is such a talented artist. Bordering on indie rock & folk/alternative, this song is a punch to the gut.

Give me a hip french tune any day. I recently stumbled on this artist and I’m happy for it! Excited to dive into the rest of their catalogue.

Waxahatchee is easily my favourite artist right now. Katy put out arguably the best record of the year last year, and I’m loving that we’re already getting a new single. Poetic lyrics and a feel good jam.

Randomly stumbled on this artist on apple music and really love the EP they just dropped. This was my fav track from it.

Hayley being featured on her pals record is a treat for all. Daniel James, (one half of Night Party), worked on her solo album, Petals for Armor, so it’s nice to see them collaborating on this stunning track.

Shocker, another Canadian I’m referencing. I’m such a fan of Helena’s previous work. The two singles she’s put out on this new EP are stunning. This one in particular being a fav.
