Torrance Barrens Dark-Sky Preserve
Rent a canoe in Bracebridge to get stunning views of the surrounding nature. We loved doing this because it allowed us to see lots of cottages and beautiful docks.

The Kee to Bala is a unique live music venue, full of history, right along the water.

Santa’s Village is great for the whole family, year round. There are rides for kids & a horse drawn tour you can take through the property. There are also cabins and camping across the street.

This lookout tower is stunning because it allows you to se views for miles. It’s the best in the autumn, when all the trees are changing colour.

If you’re into skiing or snowboarding, the ski club has great slopes!
Muskoka Ski Club - Hidden Valley
For an outdoorsy day, you can visit the Georgian Bay Islands. Here you can swim, sit on the rocks, go on hikes and take in the beauty of northern Canada.

There are a couple trails you could hike in this area, but it’s also a beautiful view of waterfalls if you want to sit and take it in or snag some photographs!
High Falls
This iconic family owned cranberry farm has a winery for you to experience.
Muskoka Lakes Farm & Winery
You can take this river trail to the falls and it's lovely!
Oxtongue River Trail
Visiting a maple farm is a MUST. The maple syrup from sugarbush is so tasty and it’s a fun activity for the whole family.
Sugarbush Hill Maple Farm
This is the brewery along the Beer Spa. If you don’t have time to stay overnight, you can pop in for food, craft beers and live music on the outdoor stage. There’s a kids play gym available outside as well.
Clear Lake Brewing Co.
An excellent vintage shop in the heart of Bracebridge. Highly recommend this shop! I’ve found some of my favourite jackets here!
Daughters of Indie
If you’re looking for a local gift shop, Pure Muskoka has some of my favourite wears. I have multiple sweaters from here and it’s excellent quality.

A Bracebridge staple, filled with trinkets & gifts. We love stopping in this shop, as the owner is incredibly kind and I’ve found some unique handmade pieces from here.
Kala House of Colour
If you’re looking for a local watering hole, this is it. Lovely staff, great beers and tasty food. There’s live music year round as well. You’ll find some local talent here, no doubt.
The Griffin Pub
A cute breakfast / coffee spot that allows you to sit right along the water. They usually have live music from local talent as well.
Jack & Stella
Lake of Bays is a great local craft beer. This place has tasty food and regularly booked live music!
Huntsville Brewhouse
Another great local brewery with craft beer. They also have a non-alcoholic selection that is tasty! Lots of outdoor space and live music in the summers!

A great beach option if you’re looking to take a dip in the lake!
Kirby's Beach
Another great beach option and view of the lakes & surrounding area.
Rosseau Waterfront Park
A great trail to take to Ragged Falls.
Oxtongue River Trail
A classy restaurant with beautiful views of the lake in Port Carling. This is an awesome spot! Get the arancini balls!
Portside Fusion Restaurant
Port Carling is another cute town to stop in, with lake access and stunning views!
