Half the knee pads I bought ended up around my baby's ankles within five minutes. These are the ones that actually gripped and stayed where they were supposed to stay.

Our house has no central air, so summer crawling meant sweaty, irritated knees. These pads let enough air through that my baby didn't overheat or get rashes.

Standard pads weren't cutting it on our original 1940s hardwood. My baby needed thicker padding without the bulk of a leg brace, and these delivered.

Knee pads only solve half the problem. My baby was also sliding all over our polished floors, so I added grip socks and leg warmers that actually prevented wipeouts.

Sometimes the best knee protection is padding the floor instead of the baby. I set up crawling zones so my daughter could go bare-kneed in at least part of the house.
