Every pink comforter I found online looked like it belonged in a dorm room circa 2009. It took me embarrassingly long to find bedding that read ‘chic editorial’ instead of ‘bubblegum princess.’

Bare walls were killing the vibe. I needed art and mirrors that felt intentional, not like I panic-bought a poster at HomeGoods on a Sunday afternoon.

I couldn't afford to replace all my furniture, so I hunted for a few small accent pieces that would carry the pink theme without making the room look like a set from Barbie's Dreamhouse.

Overhead lighting was making everything look washed out and clinical. The whole pink palette fell flat until I figured out that warm, layered lighting was the missing piece.

The big pieces were in place but something still felt off — like a room that was 90% done. These tiny additions were what finally made people walk in and say ‘wow, this looks like a magazine.’
