I always said I'd look up stretches on YouTube but never did. Hanging a poster next to my bed meant I literally couldn't ignore it. Now I roll out of bed, glance at the wall, and just do the thing.

My first attempt at a morning stretch routine ended with me sliding across my hardwood floor in socks on a flimsy mat. Never again. These actually grip the floor and don't smell like a tire factory.

Some mornings my upper back felt like it had gravel under the skin. A poster tells you what to stretch, but a foam roller digs into the spots stretching alone can't reach.

After about a month my morning five poses felt too easy. Adding a light band turned the same routine into something that actually challenged my flexibility again without adding twenty minutes.

I literally could not reach past my shins when I started. Telling someone inflexible to ‘just stretch deeper’ is useless. A strap bridges the gap so you actually make progress instead of just suffering.

Stretching loosened the big muscle groups but left little knots behind, especially between my shoulder blades. These tools get into the tiny spots a foam roller is too wide to reach.

Knowing what to stretch is half the battle. Actually doing it every single day is the other half. I failed for months before I added simple tracking that made the habit stick.

I used to stretch in whatever I slept in, which was usually old jeans I fell asleep wearing. Actual stretchy clothes removed the friction of ‘I don’t feel like changing' and made the whole thing smoother.
