Where to stay
All the best places to lay your head in Asheville, NC.
This stylish boutique hotel is housed in a former 1970’s era bank and has all suite accommodations with floor to ceiling windows, farm to table dining, a vintage bowling alley bar, and a rooftop lounge with mountain views.
The Flat Iron Hotel
That same southern hospitality you know and love from their Charleston location (for my CHS friends and locals) but in downtown Asheville.
The Restoration Asheville
Named after Zelda Fitzgerald (who spent a lot of time in Asheville), this boutique hotel is the cutest little spot for romantic, moody stays.
Zelda Dearest
This property was once home to the steel foundry that built the Biltmore Estate, it’s now a Hilton Curio property with a very gorg restaurant.
The Foundry Hotel
Where to eat + drink
My personal fave places to grab a bite or a sip around town.
My fave brunch spot. A West Asheville institution, actually. NOTE: Come early, and be prepared to wait. During our first *attempted* visit we got there before closing but because the wait was so long we couldn’t be seated that day.
Sunny Point Cafe
Elevated but still Casual Southern seafood. Perfect for when you want comfort food with a chef’s kiss. Recently listed as one of the best 50 restaurants in America. And the Chef here, Ashleigh Shanti, is racking up all types of well deserved awards.
Good Hot Fish
Filipino fine dining and one of Asheville’s hardest reservations for a reason, it’s bold, creative and super cozy.
Neng Jr.'s
It’s a very cute desert and cocktail listening bar. Go for the vibes, stay for the drinks and treats.
Potential New Boyfriend
The cutest Italian café. Don’t skip dessert.
Piccolina
Mountain views, sleek design, and cocktails that hit.
The Montford Rooftop Bar
An award winning bar with Jazz energy, dim lights, and bartenders who actually remember your name.
Little Jumbo
What to Do
Things to do in Asheville that aren't just visiting a brewery. (no shade to the breweries at all)
The perfect winery for lovers of beautiful scenery.
Marked Tree Vineyard
One of my favorite things to do especially during the fall foliage season. Take a picnic set up and literally just enjoy the view.
Blue Ridge Parkway
Go for a float at this quaint little spa.
Still Point Wellness Float and Massage Spa
Go watch the sunset with a drink in hand from this bar on the Biltmore estate
Edison, Craft Ales + Kitchen
Wander through beautifully landscaped gardens and a plethora of accessible trails.
The North Carolina Arboretum
Go shopping and dining in “Asheville’s Original Mall.”
Grove Arcade
Enjoy all fun and games at Asheville’s only board game cafe.
Well Played Board Game Café
I actually did this zip line a few years ago and the staff was incredibly kind, funny and we had a blast. It was one of the most fun and thrilling things I've done in the area ever. Would go back as well.
