Best tour in the city, takes you under the city and gives a great history back in time of what they went through right there in the city center
Times and Prices - The Real Mary King's Close
The iconic castle of the city, that you see as soon as you get into the city center. Everyday at 1pm the cannon goes off. This is neat to see an active castle that is still up and running today.
Defender of the Nation
When the Queen was alive, she spent her summers here in Scotland. This was one of her main summer homes. There is swans that are also in the ponds, its a beautiful walk and amazing to see the guards, the swams, her home. This is a MUST visit!
Palace of Holyroodhouse
If Zoo's are your thing, this is a little out of the city, but such a cool zoo. Its not near as busy as Edinburgh zoo either!
Five Sisters Zoo - West Lothian Visitor Attraction
If you are into nature, this is a perfect hike to oversee the city!
Scotland is known for its flavored Gin's. This was an amazing tour, the tour guide was amazing, made it fun for everyone. The brew master was there that day making some gin and gave us some behind the scene gin… SOOO good! HIGHLY recommend.
Edinburgh Gin
At different points of the year, the gardens do really spectacular events. Depending on your time of year you visit, check out what they have going on! It's a beautiful place, stop buy and dont forget to get a cuppa while your there ;)
The Royal Botanic Garden Edinburgh
Another great Hiking spot. This is such a neat view of the city along with older buildings that give great history to go with it!
Calton Hill - All You Need to Know BEFORE You Go (2025)
This is my favorite walk of a part of the city. Its so pretty along the water. Just for the photo you will get, I recommend walking down Deans Village
Dean Village

The rooftop is an experience you dont want to miss! Grab a drink or an app, do the tour. This is a must do!
Edinburgh is known for its bar scene. This is a hidden bar that looks like a barbershop from the outside and then you go down the stairs, and open the door and its a completely different inside! HIGHLY recommend!
Panda & Sons
This is a one of the best experiences I've had at a restaurant! LOVED the food! LOVED the trying of something new! I was so happy I found this place! Absolutely locals only really know about this place! HIGHLY recommend!
Edinburgh - Six By Nico
This is my favorite for Vodka! Its tucked away and off the beaten path in the city. It has so many different kinds of homemade vodkas and shots! GREAT music! ABSOLUTELY RECOMMEND! Always a must visit!
Hidden Vodka Bar - Secret Arcade
ALWAYS a huge line to get in! Make reservations if you can. Great Indian food! Beautiful experience!
