Such a devastating and gripping story told in the most poetic way. Cannot recommend this enough. Prepare to cry!

Kristin Hannah can do no wrong, and this book is no exception. I cried throughout and threw it across the room at times, but even still this was my top read of 2024!

This book plays out like a movie in your head. It explores important themes of race, sexuality, violence, and complicated family dynamics. An incredible book I could not put down.

A cozy horror novel that has the perfect balance of scary, funny, and heartwarming moments throughout. This culminates in the most beautiful way and I will never forget this one!

I kept forgetting this was a memoir because it reads like a thriller novel at times. An incredible story of the author’s life— I cannot recommend this one more!
