I fell in love with SLO on a recent trip this past year, and it became one of my favorite towns I've ever been to! The town is also extremely committed to sustainability, a value you can see, feel, and experience in every corner.

Places to Eat
Incredible peruvian food featuring locally and sustainably sourced produce, meat, and seafood. They also are one of the only pisco distilleries in the US!
Mistura Restaurant
To-die-for dishes using locally sourced produce. The shrimp spring rolls and pesto risotto are musts!
Novo
One of the cutest small-town cafes I've ever been to! They also steam their eggs with an espresso machine (!) for the coolest texture!
Linnaea's Cafe
Most delicious sourdough bread and incredible concept (they do bread bike deliveries to reduce driving emissions).
Bread Bike Bakery
Delicious food and coffees made with a lot of heart (truly - you can taste it)
Corazon Cafe SLO
Known as a SLO staple for their delicious drinks, dishes, and especially their paella
Luna Red
Things to Do
The country's first solar-powered movie theater! Such a fun spot to catch an indie matinee

Gorgeous and not intense! Perfect weekend activity.

I did a farm tour here and it was a trip highlight!
