Japanese Shabu-shabu where you get your own pot of broth and whatever veggies and meat you want. This place is so good. Must go every time I'm in Austin.
dipdipdip Tatsu-Ya
This place is straight out of Louisiana. Insanely good food in a strip mall. Highly recommend.
Evangeline Cafe
A perfect East Austin bar with immaculate vibes and great drinks.
Yellow Jacket Social Club
Traditional Mexican tacos and drinks served in a pink cup. A+
De Nada Cantina
One of my favorite bars in Austin. Frozen drinks, great food, chill patio and indoor seating. Always a good time.
Kinda Tropical
Drink some Lone Stars, hangout, enjoy your life.
Armadillo Den
Their “popcorn tofu” sandos are really good.
Wheatsville Food Co-op
Some of the best sushi you can get anywhere. Snag a reservation in advance.
Uchi Austin
The best margarita I've ever had in my life, period.
El Alma
Aba is an institution. One of my favorite restaurants. Food and cocktails are a 1000/10.
Aba Austin
A go-to spot for natural wines by the glass or bottle and delicious pizza. Indoor and outdoor seating.
The Meteor
The ONLY breakfast tacos I eat in Austin. Absolute perfection.
El Primo
This place is a time machine back to the mid 90s. Tex-Mex with a Hawaiian twist and margaritas on Lake Austin is a good time.
Hula Hut
Austin's first Japanese sandwich shop. Everything is really good. You might need to check their days/times for walk-ins, pre-order, and pick up.

One of my favorite bagels in Austin.

Immaculate vibes, great Southern food, and really great cocktails. I always get a cocktail to-go when I leave here bc they're so good.
Hank's Austin
Somehow they make the best queso in all of Austin. 🤷🏻♂️ Just trust.

Good frozen drinks on the go.
Austin Daiquiri Factory
God-tier fast food.
Whataburger
Cocktails with poolside seating. Every now and then they have really great pop-up food here too.
Kitty Cohen's
Family-run restaurant with seasonal menus of really great food. Always have a nice meal here, and has a neighborhood vibe.
Birdie's
A taco truck in a parking lot serving some of the best traditional style tacos I've ever had. I could eat a million of these al pastor tacos.
Rosita's Al Pastor
Big fan of this place. They have coffee, draft cocktails, wine, ciders, and beer. And their bar is usually open late.
Better Half Coffee & Cocktails
Great vegan spot with great drinks.
The Beer Plant
Timeless hotel lobby bar. I love it in here.
The Driskill Bar
Good luck with parking 🤣 but this place rules. Great place for breakfast, a quick drink, a meeting, or a live show.

Really nice Greek food.

If you're looking for a slightly fancy meal, then this is your place. Locally sourced “New American” food and great cocktails.
Odd Duck
Country-style Northeastern Thai food that tastes farm-fresh. Best and most interesting Thai food in Austin for sure.

In my humble opinion, the best BBQ in Austin right now.
Interstellar BBQ
I love these chefs and I love their food. Best sauces and salsas in the game.
Nixta Taqueria
Neapolitan style pizzas and some of the best wine in Austin. Cannot stress how good their wine list is.
Bufalina
Handmade pastas from a food truck. It's shockingly good.
ARTIPASTA
Absolutely insane food. Beautiful space in the LINE Hotel. Love.
Arlo Grey by Kristen Kish
Old school Tex-Mex joint. Good food, good drinks, good for groups, family friendly.
Matt's El Rancho
It's Christmas year-round at this dive bar.
Lala's Little Nugget
Casual hangout with all-day food menu and great drinks. Lou's is a good a great afternoon hangout.
Lou’s Eastside
Drag shows, dance parties, live music, lots of fun.
