One of my favorites! The miniseries that introduced a generation to Tim Curry’s Pennywise. Creepy, nostalgic, and very much a product of its era, which makes revisiting it part of the fun.

After a teenager has a terrifying vision of a plane exploding, he and several classmates escape the flight, only to realize Death may still be coming for them. A 2000s horror staple that made everyday accidents feel way more threatening.
Final Destination (2000)

The sequel that gave an entire generation trust issues around logging trucks. Bigger, more elaborate accidents and plenty of those “there’s no way this ends well” moments that made the franchise so memorable.
Final Destination 2 (2003)

A group of friends try to move on after covering up a deadly accident, until someone with a hook starts coming after them. This is peak ’90s teen slasher energy and an easy spooky-season rewatch.

Watch a mysterious videotape and you supposedly have seven days to live. Dark, eerie, and responsible for making static-filled TVs considerably creepier in the early 2000s. This one had me scared, when I watched as kid.
The Ring (2002)

Chucky gets a partner in Tiffany, bringing romance, murder, and even more dark comedy into the Child’s Play universe. Campy, ridiculous, and one of the most memorable Chucky movies.
I love Jennifer Tilley voicing Tiffany.
Bride of Chucky (1998)
