gets a bad rep for being a bit boring, but worth a visit for a few experiential highlights especially if you hop on the ferry from the east village
an older, more corporate demographic frequents this area with offices all around
niché and nouveau riche, nolita dirtbag style
my current stomping grounds with less of a polish compared to the west side
ask yourself, wwwvgd (what would west village girls do)? the answer is most certainly sip, stroll, and shop
the energetic, beating heart of the city and likely where you think of when nyc comes to mind, can be a bit chaotic especially around times square (which should be skipped imho)
home to the best, actually enjoyable “tourist” attractions — the empire state building and statue of liberty can wait
evidently an area i need to explore more! lacking robust uptown experience but these few spots are worth the mention
pregame around the east village bars then uber to the real house music scene happening around brooklyn
