I had white paint chips all over my hallway floor for weeks before I figured out which bars actually grip without grinding into the trim. These four stayed put through kipping, dead hangs, and my full 220 lbs.

My calluses were tearing open every other workout and I kept losing my grip before my muscles actually failed. These fixed both problems within a couple weeks.

Once I had the bar up, I realized I was only using it for pulls and chins. Adding a couple accessories turned one doorway into a full upper body station.

Learned this the hard way after my first bar left two crescent-shaped dents in the wood. Spent a weekend spackling and repainting before I figured out prevention.

First two weeks I was so sore I couldn't reach the top shelf at the grocery store. These cut my recovery time roughly in half and kept me from skipping workouts.

Random pull ups every time you walk past the bar is fun but it plateaus fast. I stalled for months until I started following a real plan and writing things down.
