I went through two cheap spiralizers that broke within a month before landing on ones that could handle a butternut squash without me needing a gym warmup first.

Plain zoodles taste like wet nothing. I almost quit the whole thing until I figured out the sauce situation. These turned my sad bowl of spirals into something I actually craved.

Salt and pepper alone won't cut it. I spent weeks eating underseasoned zucchini noodles before I realized I needed to treat them like actual food, not a punishment.

Zucchini gets all the attention but it's not the only vegetable that spiralizes well. I got bored of zoodles by week three and started experimenting. Some of these surprised me.

My first month of zoodles I was starving by 8 PM every night. Turns out a bowl of spiralized vegetables alone is basically a snack. Adding protein fixed everything.

Spiralizing is fun for about two days. Then it's a chore. These tools cut my prep time in half and stopped me from abandoning the whole thing out of laziness.

Bringing zoodles to work sounded great until my first container leaked garlic pesto all over my laptop bag. Getting the right containers wasn't optional after that disaster.
