This is one of my favorite locations for enjoying great food with a beautiful sunset that glistens lime diamonds over the water. If waterfront is not your thing, you can enjoy the view indoors.

This Witchy Bread company has a cauldron full of icing to drizzle on all loaf confections. I bought the 6 Degrees of Maple Bacon and it was heavenly. Each loaf pan is enough to share with a friend.

This is an iconic South Florida spot for they sell the Ice cream Kitchen Sink. It really is a lot of sundae deliciousness. The food and the shop is great as well. It is in a walkable area and not far from the beach.

This is THE dive bar in Ft. Lauderdale, off of Las Olas Blvd and A1A. It is always a good place to grab a drink at the beach and is right next to some great restaurants.

I went here as a kid and it never gets old. Butterflies land on you and flutter around, you may be able to see them hatch. I liked to go in the morning before the crowd.

My family enjoyed this park because you’re not just looking at flamingoes, but feeding and learning about them as well as other birds in the park. I suggest not going when it is super hot or humid because the weather will wear you out fast.

This is such a nice zoo with different species of animals, it is a little smaller, but well maintained. It is right next door to the Cox Science Center and Aquarium.
Palm Beach Zoo & Conservation Society
There is so much to do here, you need to plan for a two day pass to experience it all. I remember being awed by space travel and wanted to go to space camp. It’s a short drive from the theme parks, I strongly recommend taking the kids here.
