This was my gateway drug. To tabletop games that is, and it's still in my top 5 favorites. There is a lot going on with this one which can be a bit overwhelming, but the mechanics make up for it if you're newer to strategy games.
7 Wonders Board Game
Beans. What more can I say? This game is SO MUCH FUN and goes completely off the rails with it's trading mechanism. This has been a gateway game for several of my friends and is a frequent play with my game groups. Can't recommend it enough!
