A collection of things my daughter absolutely could not be without. Whether solely for her or for mom and dad to use with her, these are some things my daughter NEVER gets tired of.

My daughter goes everywhere with her Yoto. This device is very portable and gets her away from screen-time and we all know how hard that can be. The Yoto takes simple cards that don't take up a lot of space and has a massive library of music, stories, audiobooks, and more. You can even create your own cards! I also love that it has volume limiting for time-of-day and when headphones are plugged in.

A little bit protection, a little bit style. The jacket carrier is a must-have addition to your Yoto. Not only can your kiddo pick which color they want, but you can help protect the device. The wrist band is also nice for smaller hands to carry it around.

My daughter is obsessed with umbrellas for some reason so she was so excited to pick this out. This kid-friendly size umbrella is easy to open and close and comes in quite a few designs. AND IT CHANGES COLOR WHEN IT RAINS. I have not told her it's “bad luck” to open it indoors yet…

One of my daughter's favorite toys. She doesn't quite use it for the games the scanner offers (which are pretty neat), but she still totes this around to go shopping. First we build a shopping list on paper, then she scans my phone (like we're at Costco), then we go shopping!

This is for my daughter, I swear. This is a fun building activity that promotes so much creativity. I think we have all seen these before so there's not a whole lot more to say!

My daughter loves to draw and this projector table helps her practice tracing and coloring in. The board is dry-erase which makes clean-up easy and the board itself is built into the carrying case so everything can be easily packed up and brought along to wherever you're going. It comes with a bunch of images, markers, and pens soo it is ready to go!

Every kid likes to ride bikes. I was back-and-forth on training wheels vs balance bike but my daughter made it clear she wanted pedals. What I like about this bike is that it is solid and the training wheels are angled slightly upwards so there still is balance involved to prevent tipping. It is on the pricier side compared to a big box store, but there are some things I feel quality is needed, and bikes are one of them.

Safety first! The Thousand helmets are solid, highly adjustable, and look rad. Especially with the included sticker pack! The chin strap is adjustable as well as a ratcheting dial around the head. The chin strap also has an easy on/off magnetic clasp that won't pop off on its own.

Potty training is hard but clean-up is easy! With two pieces and a pop-out bowl, this training potty makes the whole process much easier to clean and tote around. And considering what it is, it doesn't look too bad sitting in your family room.

Did you know Duolingo does reading and writing for kids? I didn't either until recently. My daughter finds this “game” so much fun and it is screen time I can actually get behind. In just a couple of weeks her letter identification has gotten better. The lessons make it much more interesting than just repeating patterns and the progress is fun to track, just like their language learning programs.
Oh, and it's free!

I started swim class when my daughter wasn't even quite one yet and she continues to go to this day. Being and feeling safe and comfortable in the pool is crucial from a young age and I've enjoyed what Aqua Tots has had to offer. Their program keeps class sizes small, the teachers have been caring and supportive, and their large network allows for streamlined booking.

My daughter recently upgraded to her big girl bed and we got her the Helix kids mattress. She sleeps so we'll in it and mom and dad enjoy reading books with her in it given how comfy it is. I chose this mattress for two big reasons: it is double side...

My daughter loves her reusable bottle because it is just like mom and dad's bottles. Despite loving pink, she chose yellow for her water bottle. I like the hydro flask for it's variety of fun colors, useful accessories, and longevity.
